Azim Premji University NET 2025 Papers Details

Candidates appearing for the entrance exam by Azim Premji University should know about the type of questions they will be attempting in the upcoming exam. The details for each section of the undergraduate and the postgraduate entrance exams are as under: 

For Undergraduate Question Paper: 

  • The entrance test for UG courses is divided into three parts i.e. Part 1 - English Language, Part 2 - Quantitive Reasoning and Part 3 - Written Test comprising Analytical/ Problem Solving/ Essay Writing questions. 
  • Part 1 and Part 2 of the question paper carries the objective type of questions of equal weightage. 
  • Part 3 carries a descriptive type of question, however, the mark allotments is not specified by the university. 
  • For descriptive paper, the choices available are - Economics, Biology, Humanities, Physics, and Mathematics. Candidates can attempt the question as per their preference 

For Postgraduate Question Paper: 

  • The question paper is divided into two parts i.e. Part 1 carrying five subjects - Reading Comprehension, Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Ability, and General & Social Awareness. The weightage is different for all the subjects. 
  • For Part 2, the question paper will carry 1 descriptive questions for all MA courses based on the relevant subject or preferred subject. And, for the LLM course, there will be three questions of Legal Essay and candidates have to attempt only one.
