Ashoka Aptitude Test 2025 Dates - The exam body, Ashoka University, has announced the schedule of Ashoka Aptitude Test (AAT) 2025. Ashoka Aptitude Assessment dates include the last dates of filling the application form, the dates of the assessment, result announcement dates, fee payment deadline, etc. Aspirants must go through the Ashoka Aptitude Test 2025 dates to ensure that they do not miss out any events of the admission process. As per the schedule published by Ashoka University, AAT 2025 will be conducted in three rounds on December 8, 2024January 25, 2025 and May 4, 2025. The AAT 2025 applications started on October 10, 2024. The applications for the first round conclude on November 27, 2024, for the second round applications close on January 15, 2025, and for the third, on April 25, 2025. Aspirants should follow the instructions given below while filling the AAT 2024 application form:

  • The application form has multiple sections. Candidates are advised to carefully fill in the details and double-check once completed.
  • The applicant has to attach all the mandatory documents to prevent AAT application form from being ‘ineligible’.
  • The photograph, government identification document and examination mark sheets should be clearly visible.
  • Applicant’s choice of preferred Majors under the Survey Section in the application form is only indicative in nature.

Ashoka Aptitude Test 2025 Admission Process

Candidates can go though the admission process mentioned below:

Registration

To apply for AAT 2025, candidates will first have to register themselves on the official website of the varsity. The candidate should register themselves with a valid email-ID which is working. The login details for the AAT application form will be emailed to the candidate on the submitted ID sent. All communications from Ashoka University will be sent to the aspirant’s registered email-ID.

Fill Ashoka University Application Form

Candidates will have to fill the application form for Ashoka University admissions online on the official website of the varsity. There is no application fee to fill the form for Ashoka University UG admissions 2025. Applicant are advised to carefully and thoroughly check the details being filled in. Along with the application form, candidates will also have to upload their documents along with photographs.

Give AAT

Next, candidates who will be shortlisted for the interview process will have to appear for Ashoka Aptitude Test (AAT). Candidates are informed that AAT exam is conducted online along with a written test, followed by a Personal Interview (PI).

AAT Process as follows:

  • Write Essay: On the day of interview round they will have to first write an essay, on the spot. It is mandatory for all candidates to write the essay. The time duration in which candidates need to write the essay is 30 minutes and the essay should not be longer than 650 words.
  • AAT: The AAT will be conducted in online mode and questions will be based on problem-solving skills (included numerical and spatial reasoning) and crucial thinking skills (including understanding arguments and reasoning using everyday language). The AAT has 40 MCQs.

Appear for Interview Round

Further, candidates who will clear the AAT will have to appear for the interview round. Ashoka University conducts panel interviews in order to shortlist aspirants for admissions. Once applicants will go through the interview round they can expect to receive one of the following communications:

  • Firm offer of admission
  • A conditional offer of admission
  • Waitlisted (possibility of an offer at the end of the admissions cycle or earlier)
  • Deferred (possibility of an offer after receiving final class XII scores)
  • Denial of admission

Ashoka University will release a list of shortlisted candidates and those whose names will appear in this admission list. They will have to deposit an offer confirmation fee to confirm their acceptance of admission before the deadline.

In order to cover the estimated cost of the course, a candidate's ability to pay is evaluated based on the numerous financial resources accessible to their immediate family, including current income, savings, investments, and education loans. The College Board will annually, around the end of April, recognise Indian students who have received a SAT score of 1300 or higher as top performers. The top performers are eligible to receive a full tuition scholarship for the entire duration of their programme of study at Ashoka University. Also, they need to demonstrate significant financial need, which is defined as family income less than INR 8,00,000 per year, and receive a firm offer of admission from Ashoka University. Once the eligibility criteria is met, candidate can receive anywhere from a 25% waiver on tuition to a 100% waiver on the total fee.
