Placement Opportunities: Placement opportunities are limited in the English Hons department, and there are no guaranteed job offers after completing the program. However, being an eco-student at BHU provides moderate chances for placement at companies like TCS, Accenture, CAG, ICMR, UPES, etc. Approximately 30-40% of students get internships, and 25-35% receive placement offers. The average salary is around INR3 LPA, with the highest being INR6 LPA.

Teaching and Curriculum: Teachers in BHU are highly qualified and experienced, with a strong focus on both theoretical and practical learning. The curriculum is relevant, though some students feel it could be updated to prepare students better for the industry.

Infrastructure and Facilities: BHU has excellent infrastructure, with well-maintained classrooms, hostels, and libraries. The campus is spread across 400 acres, providing ample space for recreational activities and personal growth.

Campus Life and Student Activities: The campus is vibrant, with multiple clubs and organizations catering to different interests. Students can engage in cultural, literary, and sporting activities, making the academic experience enjoyable and enriching.

Value for Money: While the placement opportunities may be limited, the cost of pursuing a B.A. (Hons) at BHU is relatively affordable compared to other private institutions in India.

In conclusion, while the placement opportunities might not be extensive, the academic programs at BHU offer a unique blend of theoretical and practical learning, backed by experienced faculty and state-of-the-art infrastructure. With its rich history and cultural heritage, BHU provides a stimulating academic environment that fosters personal and professional growth.

Placements: In my course, there are 60 students. In degree courses, there are no placement, but internships are available. Placements are only offered in law, management, and engineering courses. Around 15% of total number of students secured internships based on their performance and activities.
Infrastructure: College is quite good. Most of the classrooms are digitalized and have Wi-Fi connections. Labs are available. Library is huge and there is a large variety of books stocked. Hostel is good, and food is decent. They provide medical facilities. There is a place for sports and games.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified. They all hold doctorate degrees in their own subjects and they have a vast knowledge of subject. They teach very well. Course curriculum is good and understandable for students. Syllabus is prepared to be helpful for career opportunities in the course.
Other: I chose Psychology because I want to be a Clinical Psychologist. There are a lot of events and fests in our college. Campus crowd is also huge and campus is good.

Banaras Hindu University faculty and infrastructure .
Placements: In a geography honours course, there is a lot of scope for BHU professors and mentors and its placement society calls on big companies and businessmen to give jobs. The college is overwhelming and good. Just need to work on infrastructure and administration part.
Placements: Till now I had not heard about the placement on the campus but I'm for sure that placements could be achieved from English Hons here. Since it is the most demanding course in the faculty of arts anywhere by having a good set of students and peers and also a good learning environment .
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is really poor both of the faculty and hostel. The toilets are devastating and the faculty rooms are not neat and clean and also poorly maintained. You need to rethink before coming here if you need better accommodation and a well-maintained college.
Faculty: The professors are really nice and the peer you get here is awesome and by the time it continues to provide many opportunities for you. You will learn new things here; a lot of skills could be inherited and the exams are not hard; it's easy.
Other: You would get mixed crowd here.

English Hons. at Banaras Hindu University.
Placements: There are no placement opportunities in English Hons. There is no option of going for corporate here. Also, you cannot go for internships. Nowadays there are many clubs which you can join to polish your skills. Placements process is very bad. Don't think that you will get any job offers after doing Bachelors.
Infrastructure: The hostel facility and classrooms are very good. The college has a good infrastructure and environment for studying. There is greenery along with a quiet environment. It feels nice to be here. The classrooms are spacious. The hostels have good rooms and it feels good. Also, the hostel has birds and peacocks surrounding which feels very nice.
Faculty: The curriculum is good and relevant. The course was very tough but helpful. The professors are very qualified. Absolutely loved their teaching. Their teaching method is very nice. The exams are not that tough. You can easily get good marks. You will grasp the concept well.
Other: Overall, the experience is very good. You will enjoy your time here. The city, the University, everything is amazing.

Good place for study, green and large infrastructure with quality teaching.
Placements: Placements for Social Science faculty are relatively low. Courses like Economics have better opportunities for placements. 5-10 percent of students get placed every year. The companies that come for placements are mostly Indian. The package is around 10-15 LPA at most.
Infrastructure: BHU has a very large and green infrastructure. It has the facility of 4 GB free Wi-Fi each day. The hostels are mostly two-seater with bedding and food facilities. The mess provides good quality food, and the rate is ₹50 per meal. The grounds here are well maintained.
Faculty: Teachers here are well-qualified. Some of them are quite exceptional in their respective fields. Classes here are 5-6 hours each day except on holidays and Sundays. The curriculum is mildly relevant, and there are some portions which are not obsolete. Exams here follow a (70+30) pattern. The 30 marks are divided into 20 for internal tests and 10 for assignments. 70 marks are awarded for external tests. The marks given are good and fair.
Other: There are schemes for economically weaker students like government-funded scholarships and Learn While Earn, which is a part-time job facility provided by BHU itself. The campus life is pretty good, and it is a co-ed system. Varanasi is a beautiful place, and there are many places to visit here.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of BHU is good, with classrooms equipped with smart boards and projectors, employing modern techniques. BHU boasts two vast libraries, and the entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled. There are 72 hostels in BHU Mess, offering average food, along with numerous expansive sports grounds for each faculty member.
Faculty: Teachers in BHU are highly experienced and qualified, possessing good teaching qualities. They are highly knowledgeable and focus not only on book knowledge but also on holistic development. The curriculum is not too modern and hardly prepares students for the industry.
