BHU MBA Eligibility & Highlights 2025
Banaras Hindu University (BHU) offers a two-year full-time MBA and MBA in International Business (MBA-IB) courses through its Institute of Management Studies. It also offers multiple MBA programmes under special courses of study. BHU admission to the MBA programme is completely entrance-based. Candidates shortlisted based on exam scores have to participate in the Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GDPI) followed by counselling. BHU-affiliated colleges also offer MBA programmes.
For BHU MBA and MBA (IB) admission, students will be admitted based on CAT scores conducted by IIM of the corresponding year, followed by the GD & PI round. The final merit list of selected candidates for BHU MBA admission is prepared based on the following criteria and weightage:
- Qualifying exam: 50% weightage
- Academic record: 20% weightage
- GDPI (conducted by FMS, BHU): 30% weightage

- Visit the official website of CUET-PG (cucet.nta.nic.in) and click on the 'New Registration' tab and read the instructions carefully before proceeding.
- Fill out the application form with all the mandatory details such as personal, and educational qualifications, etc.
- Upload the scanned photograph and signature as per the prescribed specifications.
- Select courses and Universities as per your preference and pay the CUET application fee as mentioned above.

STEP 2: Group Discussion & Personal Interview (GDPI)
Applicants shortlisted based on CAT score are called for GDPI, which is conducted at the institute. The schedule for GDPI is released by the admission committee. Moreover, candidates not appearing for the GD or PI on the scheduled date will be disqualified from the admission process.
STEP 3: Admission Counselling
In the last step, candidates selected based on CAT score, academic record, and performance in GDPI are called for a counselling round. When provisional admission is offered to a candidate, the original documents will be detained by the institute and will be returned after the completion of admission formalities.
