Q:   How is the overall infrastructure of IMS BHU?

    A:
    {Source: BDS students & alumni]

IMS Bhubaneswar has a vibrant campus life for girl students, with allowed freedom within restricted timings and no dress code restrictions. The college provides various sports facilities and a moderately busy calendar of events. The mess food is of good quality and variety, and the attendance policy requires complete attendance to avoid penalties. There is no language challenge on campus, and student support services are available through designated teachers and student representatives. Academically, the college follows a moderate schedule with regular exams and practical discussions based on case studies. The college has a well-stocked library and secure surroundings with guards and CCTV cameras present everywhere. Ragging is strictly prohibited, and authorities must grant permission for leaving the hostel premises. All modes of transport are available from the campus, making it easily accessible.

Based on the reviews provided, the overall infrastructure of the college is good. The college is Wi-Fi enabled and has separate departments with UG and PG clinics. The hostel facilities are good and the food served is decent. The college has a canteen and sports events and leagues are conducted regularly. However, some reviewers mentioned that the classrooms and labs do not have air conditioning, but the PG labs are properly maintained with air conditioning and fully functional dental chairs. Additionally, the college has smart boards in the classrooms and a well-equipped library with all necessary books.

Summary: The infrastructure of the college is good, with Wi-Fi facilities, separate departments and adequate hostel and canteen facilities. While some reviewers noted that the classrooms and labs do not have air conditioning, the college makes up for it with well-maintained PG labs and smart boards in the classrooms.

It is one of the best colleges.
Placements: It is a professional course. This course doesn't provide placement opportunities. There is a compulsory internship program for every student. After completing the internship, if we do post-graduation at this college, we will get good salary packages.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Our college is Wi-Fi enabled. Our college provides separate departments with their UG and PG clinics. The hostel facilities are good. Wi-Fi facility is available in the hostel. The food served in the good. Our college has a canteen. The canteen services are not available at night. They conduct sports events and leagues.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified. They are experts. They teach us very well. They conduct a yearly professional examination and 2 sessional exams. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready.
Other: This is a professional course, so you don't have to worry about anything. This course inculcates hand skills and knowledge. Many events are held in our college. Many strikes occur almost the whole year, so it should be improved.

Till now absolutely satisfied with better facility .
Placements: I am still studying here, but as I see my seniors they are doing pretty good and earning as an intern. You will get the best practice and practical here with the best professor in country. You will not regret getting admission here, and with best placements.
Infrastructure: BHU itself is one of the largest residential university, you will get all the facility in classroom with air conditioner and with labs for practical. Hostel is pretty well with Indian food in mess. As a student of BHU you will get free medical checkup, and regular sports events.
Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful with a very descent interaction all are well qualified. Even if you are doing a course of BDS you will get to study with the same teacher and classroom where MBBS student study. Same anatomy lab and teachers, same biochemistry lab and physiology lab.
Other: As I was below 2 or 3 marks of MBBS cutoff I opt for BDS course so I choose BHU. As in BHU you will get all the facilities to complete the course with better practical lab in the country. Yearly events like wisdom fest occurs every year, sports events and many others you will not regret getting admission here.

Labs, libraries, canteens, Wi-Fi, hostels, etc. were available for the students. Sports facilities were available for the students. Various sports tournaments were organized at the college.
Faculty: The faculty of the college were well trained and knowledgeable. Teachers were offering proper training to the students. All the faculty members were helpful and qualified. It is satisfactory but a bit expensive.
Placements: There is no company placement in dental sciences but the passed-out seniors are in good position, so it's quite well. Apart from that, when you initiate a clinic, the BHU name is enough to show that you are skilled. So overall, it is a good field.
Infrastructure: We get a 4 Gb Wi-Fi hotspot with sort of average connection. There are separate UG and PG labs and enough dental chairs for clinical practice. There are no air-conditioners in the UG lab but PG labs are properly maintained having air-conditioners and fully functional dental chairs. Classrooms are fine having smart classes but no air-conditioner.
Faculty: Our teachers are very well qualified and experienced. All the teachers are very helpful and supportive. Course is specified by the dental council of India. The clinal posting prepares you well for the future. The exams are fine not too difficult and the pass percentage is also quite fine.
Other: I didn't get enough marks for MBBS so I chose this course as it is privileged above other courses and well paid. There are no emergency cases except for the oral surgery department so your life is a bit less hectic.

It's not what I expected but wherever it takes me I do good. I have faith in my abilities.
Placements: 1. They all become good and skilled doctor and researcher. 2. Placement is not certain. 3. Lots of good hospitals and colleges. 4. 100% all students got to do the internship only after that they all can have their degrees. 5. Orthodontics, implantologist, oral and maxillofacial surgeon.
Infrastructure: All classrooms and clinics doesn't have air conditioner but campus is so big and view is just breathtaking. We have Wi-Fi, labs, libraries, all sort of medical facilities. Yearly we have feast, sports meet and seminars n lots of extra curriculum. BHU is the best.
Faculty: All teachers are super qualified aka gold medalist. The we have hard with our queries cause professors don't have lots of time in their hands. Exams are super tough here but by enough hard work you can pass it with golden colours. The passing percentage is 50%.
Other: Honestly, I didn't know why did I choose this course but being here itself is an achievement. Best thing here is the patients exposure you'll get. Clinics maintenance should be improved.

    Placements experienced faculty.
Placements: We are here talking about medical so there is no such thing as placement. But yes the students of our college are in good positions at present and are doing well for themselves. And if we talk about internships then 100% of students get internships in our college only.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is nice for a medical college there are proper labs for undergraduates and postgraduate students. Every department is well-equipped. The Wi-Fi is also there. The classroom is equipped with smart boards and the library has all sorts of books available.
Faculty: The curriculum is followed strictly which is set by the dental council of India. It is very relevant to the clinical aspects which is a great aid in practice. The exams are not that difficult so if a student reads just fine he/she can pass for sure.
Other: I always wanted to be a doctor so that was an important factor and the Banaras Hindu University is like a dream come true. Events and fest are not organized since my admission due to covid so can't say anything about that.

Admission to BHU depends upon the eligibility criteria for the course chosen.

For undergraduate programs, the admission is done through CUET (Common University Entrance Test), where is rank will be based on the scores obtained.

Other than that, there are cut off variations as per categories (general,
