Commonly asked questions On Admissions
Q: How is the overall infrastructure of IMS BHU?
IMS Bhubaneswar has a vibrant campus life for girl students, with allowed freedom within restricted timings and no dress code restrictions. The college provides various sports facilities and a moderately busy calendar of events. The mess food is of good quality and variety, and the attendance policy requires complete attendance to avoid penalties. There is no language challenge on campus, and student support services are available through designated teachers and student representatives. Academically, the college follows a moderate schedule with regular exams and practical discussions based on case studies. The college has a well-stocked library and secure surroundings with guards and CCTV cameras present everywhere. Ragging is strictly prohibited, and authorities must grant permission for leaving the hostel premises. All modes of transport are available from the campus, making it easily accessible.
Based on the reviews provided, the overall infrastructure of the college is good. The college is Wi-Fi enabled and has separate departments with UG and PG clinics. The hostel facilities are good and the food served is decent. The college has a canteen and sports events and leagues are conducted regularly. However, some reviewers mentioned that the classrooms and labs do not have air conditioning, but the PG labs are properly maintained with air conditioning and fully functional dental chairs. Additionally, the college has smart boards in the classrooms and a well-equipped library with all necessary books.
Summary: The infrastructure of the college is good, with Wi-Fi facilities, separate departments and adequate hostel and canteen facilities. While some reviewers noted that the classrooms and labs do not have air conditioning, the college makes up for it with well-maintained PG labs and smart boards in the classrooms.
