B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering - Batch of 2028

IIT BHU- Banaras Hindu University student review.
Placements: Around 82% of students got placed in our course. As we saw, even electrical students get a salary package of 1.68 LPA, and the highest salary package offered is 55 LPA. The average salary package offered is 25 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Google, Microsoft, McKinsey, and Goldman Sachs. The top roles offered are SDE and web develops.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is very bad. The Wi-Fi facility is poor compared to other IITs. The classrooms are not air-conditioned and the library does not have many books. The hostel is newly built on the campus so it is a little better now and good. The food quality in the mess and canteen is good but the taste is not that good.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified, knowledgeable, and very friendly. They are always ready to solve our doubts. The teaching quality of the lecturers is excellent. The course curriculum is excellent, and it makes students ready for industry which is why the placements are mind-blowing. The semester exams are moderate level, and the pass percentage is about 90%.
Other: I chose this course because I liked the concept of electricity which I learned during my JEE preparation. The best things about the course are about laboratories we learn practically and are involved in doing some projects we love so much. Some lecturers are not very qualified for the course they should replace them. The events and extracurricular activities in this college are outstanding.

Integrated B.Tech. + M.Tech. in Mathematics and Computing - Batch of 2029
Offered by Indian Institute of Technology, BHU, Varanasi
4.4

Great college overall really good placements and Varanasi city is really bad.
Placements: My branch is mathematics and computing at this university. My batch had 52 students at first, and now it has 57 students after 1st semester due to a branch change. As for the students of my branch who got placed this year 78.72% of students got placed in this year's MNC branch. The highest salary package offered is 54 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 13 LPA. The average salary package offered is 32.66 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Goldman Sachs, Google, Microsoft, Flipkart, Amazon, Nvidia, JP Morgan, De Shaw, etc. Top roles offered are software development, data science, and quantitative research.
Infrastructure: My Department of Mathematical Sciences is fully equipped with Wi-Fi facility. The classrooms are really good all of them have projectors and most of them are air-conditioned. The libraries are also air-conditioned. It has both digital libraries with computers as well as reading libraries. Our hostel is excellent and affordable for freshers. The hostel is new and just opened this year. In the hostel, we have water coolers with constant water and electricity supply with fast internet connection both wireless and LAN. The mess food is good with a variety of dishes.
Faculty: I won't exactly say the teachers are helpful enough as some professors do not explain everything. It's hard to understand what's going on in the class, and students have to study on their own most of the time. The teaching quality is not good. The course curriculum is quite practical. It is balanced between Mathematics and Computer Science so it is an excellent choice that makes us industry-ready. We can also have more options to explore than any other branch students. The semester exams are easy to crack if students study well. Only a few students fail.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to explore opportunities in quantitative finance, software development, artificial intelligence, and mathematics and computing is a branch that helps explore all of these and many more diverse fields. My course curriculum does not have any subjects for artificial intelligence/machine learning which is disappointing as artificial intelligence is a really big field of applied mathematics. It would be really good if they could include it in our curriculum. This university conducts 3 major fests annually like kashiyatra, technex, and spardha.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of.
Placements: The placements in my college are pretty decent, I would say. The percentage of students who got placed in my college mainly depends on the cutoff, their caste, and the number of students applying for the course. Companies like Deloitte, Byju, etc., visit the campus. As for the remaining questions, sorry, I don't have any correct knowledge.
Infrastructure: The commerce lab and classrooms are fine, the library is decent, I would say. I have no experience in PG and hostels. The campus is not good but not bad either. There is a lack of greenery in the campus, too many unwanted outsiders in the college, and no rules and regulations, etc. I had tried two fast food items from the college canteen, and they both were awful. It was really bad. No for canteen food from that time. Regarding medical facilities, I don't know. In terms of sports and games, there is an indoor auditorium in the college and a big ground (which has accountable trees) on the campus. It's decent, actually. Don't come with high expectations.
Faculty: I didn't get any fresher's fest, orientation, or festivals yet, but our 1st-semester exams are scheduled to start from the last week of this month. Honestly speaking, I am losing my last brain cell. I mean, what do they want from us? Seriously. Anyway, what can we do now? We aren't mentally prepared for the exams, especially I'm not.
Other: Decent feels. Extra curriculum. Nothing like that has happened yet, and I'm disappointed.

BHU- A series of memories.
Placements: I have a batch that consists of 73 students. It is a specialized course in finance. Placements are on the graduation level but I was the only one who got a placement from my batch with a salary package of 6 LPA. Apart from that, it gives vast knowledge about the financial market operations.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not as superficial as it should be. It needed renovation. Buildings are very old. They are under maintenance but these are only a few. The majority of classrooms are now in good condition. The food quality in the mess is satisfactory. Other facilities like free Wi-Fi, health care, a campus, and bus service are really great which is helpful for students.
Faculty: Our faculty members are good. The curriculum gives a vast knowledge of financial market operations. There are 6 semesters. After every 4-5 months, semester exams are held. The course needs a bit of modification as it is very beginner or basic level. It needs to level up the standard of the FMM course.
Other: The course is not a boring or regular course like any other course. It gives the practical exposure. Campus life is a thing that one cannot forge. It is really amazing and beautiful.

Top of the college in India.
Placements: 75 percent, if you got, you chose for master and professor degree, 20 thousand as a teacher in a college. Every student did an internship with different organizations and foundations. Teaching as a teacher in college, I participated in an Aasman foundation for an internship. I also participated in seminars.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi and labs are available in the college. Classrooms have a 50-student capacity. There is a library also in college where you have to study silently. I have the Department of English on campus. The hostel has a mess, washing machines, a bed, a cooler, a wardrobe, etc. There are also medical facilities, a canteen, and a ground for sports.
Faculty: Teachers and professors were so helpful. They completed their Ph.D. then they taught us. Their teaching is so impressive and emphatic. The semester exam is of moderate level. If you study well, 40 percent needs to pass in a subject. The minimum you have to obtain is 50 percent marks.
Other: B.A. English honours choose. The department of English is so good. Teachers and professors were so helpful. They completed their Ph.D. then they taught us. Their teaching is so impressive and emphatic. Semester exam.

Good infrastructure and beautiful campuses.
Placements: In my course, there are no placements possible because it's a Social Science course in which placements don't take place. However, students pursuing this Social Science course can apply for many internships through which they can be hired by companies.
Infrastructure: The library and classrooms are very well-cleaned and large in size. There are also a few smart classes where we learn a lot. The infrastructure of the hostel is very good, and the food is also okay, but it contains a lot of oil and spices, which can harm our health.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are responsible for their duty, and some of them are very good in nature and at their work, although some of them do not take classes. Semester exams come after every three months and take place for one and a half months with a lot of gaps in between.
Other: My main paper is Political Science, and I want to be a professor, so I chose this course. Improvement in the management of semester exams and other documentations is needed. There are a lot of events conducted on the campuses, which are a lot of fun.
