Placements: GIET University is excellent for achieving grateful achievements in placements process. Almost 90% of students easily get placed in different companies. Top recruiting companies like Wipro, Accenture, Infosys, Birla, and Tata visit the college to hire students. Almost 100% of students got internships in every summer internship program. But it paid some stipend to college. CSE roles are offered in placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is so beautiful and excellent. GIET University is great for building the best infrastructure in Odisha and the highest to popular. Facilities of the college are excellent. A free Wi-Fi is available. Labs are well-equipped, and classrooms are equipped with a projector. The library is available with air-conditioners and more than 10,000 books. The hostel facility is average. Mess food is acceptable and decent. Medical facilities are good. Sports facilities are very good. A big playground is available for playing games.

Faculty: Faculty members of the college are well-educated and experienced. They are well knowledgeable. The teaching style is good. They can help to clear all doubts of students. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams are difficult if we do not study. But 80-90% of students easily pass the semester exams.

Other: Extracurricular activities are held according to the student's timing.

It is the best college in eastern Odisha.

Placements: Almost 90% of students got placed in our college in the previous year. The highest salary package offered is 30 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. The average salary package offered is 5 LPA. Top companies like TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Tata, Amazon, and Jio visit the college for placements. Students get a chance to do internships in their own college in every 3rd semester of the course in CSE. CSE is the top role offered in our course.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities are best. All buildings look beautiful as they are cleaned every day by workers. All lab rooms have air-conditioners. The library also has an air-conditioner with 20,000 books. The hostel is the best and facilities like beds, etc., are available. For sports, there is a big playground ground. Medical facilities are also good. An ambulance is available for an emergency.

Faculty: Faculty members are highly educated and have experience of one or two years. They are helpful and clear all the doubts of students. Their teaching style is decent but they use a projector to teach students. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are difficult and the pass percentage is 90% in our course.

IGIT is the best engineering college.

Placements: Approximately 50% students get placed in companies like Adani Group, L&T, TRL, Collins Aerospace, Visa Steel, JK Paper, Dalmia Cement, AMNS, MSP Steel, Mahaveer Ferro Alloy, and software firms like TCS and Tech Mahindra. The salary package is 7.5 LPA, and 2.5 is the lowest. The average is 4.5 LPA.

Infrastructure: The facilities include Library, smart classrooms, Wi-Fi, playground, auditorium, primary hospital with ambulance, ATM, etc. The hostel facility is available for both boys and girls with proper food in the canteen. We get hostels on the basis of merit, but sufficient rooms are not available for all students in the hostel.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, but the way of teaching is not appropriate. Along with that, they need to properly study before teaching in class so that they can easily teach students. The course is not sufficient to make students ready for industry performance. Exam level is moderate.

Other: I am interested in this course because want to know about machines, mechanism as well as engineering study.

Not a good college for engineers.

Placements: Most of the companies that visit here give priority to master's students first. The highest package is 7 LPA, and the average package is around 2.5 LPA. The placement is very poor.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. The college campus is always well-maintained, neat, and clean. However, the campus is very small—quite tiny. There are classrooms, a library, and laboratories. Wi-Fi connectivity is available, but the speed is very poor, so it's better to use your own mobile data.

Faculty: The faculty members in the first year are not very good. They sometimes behave towards the students as if they are insignificant. However, after the second year, I cannot speak for other branches, but the computer science faculty members are very good and supportive.

Other: I chose this course because I was preparing for another competitive exam, so I thought the college could help me with study time, but I was wrong. The college's academic schedule is very hectic, leaving little time to learn new skills.
