Good infrastructure and a good placement-wise college.
Placements: The placement percentage is 75% in the ECE course. The highest salary package offered is 85 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 12 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Google, Microsoft, and Flipkart. Around 50% of students got internships in Microsoft, Nvidia, Cisco, and Intel.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure of the ECE department are good. Wi-Fi is present in our building. Its speed is enough to do our daily work. Classrooms are big and comfortable as we have a higher number of students available in our course. So according to it, the classroom is comfortable. The quality of the food in the hostel is good but we get food which is not very good. Facilities offered are Wi-Fi, a night canteen, a volleyball court, and a badminton court.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful and well-qualified. In our department, some teachers have done their masters from IITs. Some teachers have done several research papers. Some teachers are good at beautifully delivering their lessons. Some teachers only go through PPTs without explanation not even a single thing. We have 2 quizzes of 10 marks, a mid-semester of 25 marks, and an end-semester of 50 marks. Around 5 marks are up to the teacher.

Placements: The institute has a good reputation, and its placements are excellent. In the past, the institute has provided many good placements for its students. The average package offered by the institute is 15 LPA. Many well-known companies, such as JP Morgan, Google, and Microsoft, visit the campus for placements.
Infrastructure: The Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi was established in 1955. Since then, the campus has been developed to include good infrastructure and hostel facilities. The rooms are good and the surrounding area is very impressive. Overall, the campus is very good.
Faculty: The faculty members at this institute are very good. They are very helpful and cooperative, and guide the students very well. The curriculum is very good, and the semester is divided into two quizzes: one mid-semester and one end-of-semester.
Other: I always wanted to study mechanical engineering. Based on my JEE marks, I was allotted this college. At first, I thought it would be difficult to adjust to college life. But I gradually adjusted, and now I am enjoying hostel life.

Review of Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra.
Placements: The placements that are provided by college are relatively poor and do not offer a good return on investment, in my opinion.
There is an organized manner in which the placements are being carried out, and each student goes through a fair procedure for it.
Infrastructure: The college campus is always under construction, and that is somehow causing inconvenience to the students.
Campus is small, though there is no inconvenience in the operations of lecturers being carried out.
The food in the canteen is average but not that bad.
Faculty: The faculty in my experience was a mixed bag of positive and negative experiences; at times there were faculty members who have really pushed me through my way, but at times I had horrible experiences where the faculty mistreated and misguided me a lot.
Other: I chose BBA purely because of my interest in the field of business management and finance, and I wanted to be academically sound in this vertical.
There were involving and entertaining fests in college.

Placements are good if you are willing to work hard college will really help you.
Placements: The batch intake is very high, which makes the placements more CGPA-based. This means that students need to show their skills during the interview phase, but they need a good GPA to even be eligible for an interview. Core placements are better somehow, but case paper checking is easier in those branches, so students in those branches tend to have higher GPAs.
Infrastructure: The first-year hostels were very nice, but the second-year hostels are terrible. There is a severe lack of space, and single rooms are allocated to double sharing. We talked to the officials, and their response was that they are not allowed to build new hostels due to government restrictions even though they have plenty of land.
Faculty: Most of the professors are very good, and they are very approachable. They have high qualifications, and most of them have PhDs and studied abroad. All classes are taught in English, although the professors sometimes speak in Hindi.

BIT Mesra (A college with a beautiful campus and good campus life).
Placements: The placements used to be decent. The top recruiter is Atlassian, but the number of offers made is low. The highest package offered is around 50 Lacs, while the average package is 17-18 Lacs. The number of visiting companies is declining. Earlier, the companies visited and offered higher packages before COVID.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good, with such a large campus spread around 780 acres of land and a beautiful institute building, though it is old. The hostels are old but maintained. The room size is small but good enough for a single person, though the rooms are provided for sharing only, which makes accommodation difficult.
Faculty: The faculty members are average. Some of the faculty members are good, but some are very strict and can't teach nicely. The course curriculum is also old but somehow relevant to make the students industry-ready. The semester exams are moderate, with almost 70% of people passing the exams.
Other: I chose the course because of my interest in coding. The best thing about the course is that it gives knowledge about modern-day software and technology. I wish the course was more coding-related. The fests held here are Pantheon (held in October) and BITOTSAV (held in March). There are other small fests and events held in college.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure for the Computer Science Engineering department typically includes facilities, equipment, and systems designed to support innovation in the computer and engineering fields. Projectors and Wi-Fi are available in classrooms, and labs are available.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and have their own cabins. All are qualified with Ph.D. Class timings are from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, and breaks are available in between. The maximum class time is one hour. Semester exams are quite tough, and the evaluation of copies is very strict.

No, you can't get admission in BTech Biotechnology or any other branches of BTech with a NEET UG Score card. You have to appear in the JEE Main exam with PCM subject and then apply for Josaa or Csab counselling to get admission in B.Tech in BIT Mesra.
