Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi.

Placements: The institute has a good reputation, and its placements are excellent. In the past, the institute has provided many good placements for its students. The average package offered by the institute is 15 LPA. Many well-known companies, such as JP Morgan, Google, and Microsoft, visit the campus for placements.

Placements are good if you are willing to work hard college will really help you.

Placements: The batch intake is very high, which makes the placements more CGPA-based. This means that students need to show their skills during the interview phase, but they need a good GPA to even be eligible for an interview. Core placements are better somehow, but case paper checking is easier in those branches, so students in those branches tend to have higher GPAs.

BIT Mesra (A college with a beautiful campus and good campus life).

Placements: The placements used to be decent. The top recruiter is Atlassian, but the number of offers made is low. The highest package offered is around 50 Lacs, while the average package is 17-18 Lacs. The number of visiting companies is declining. Earlier, the companies visited and offered higher packages before COVID.

At first, it seems good, but it's not.

Placements: 60 percent are placed on campus in ECE. The highest is nearly 44 LPA by Microsoft, and the average package is nearly 14 LPA. Top recruiters are Google, Microsoft, Atlassian, Samsung, Amdocs, Flipkart, Walmart, Fastenal, PwC, PayPal, etc. Many of them get internships, so placements are good, but internships are not.

BIT Mesra is indeed one of the best colleges for placements.

Placements: Placements at this college are good. According to me, it is indeed better than all the other colleges that are present at this rank. For the CSE branch, even in the season of recession, around 75% of students got placed with an average salary package of 17.5 LPA. So I think it is quite impressive. It is favorable at this CAMP rank.

Placements are average. Campus has very good infrastructure with greenery.

Placements: In our course, placements are negligible. There is a placement cell for IMSc in Physics. If someone is looking for admission in B.Tech, then placements are better. It is about 50-60% for all branches. For courses like Computer Science, it is around 75-85%. It is far better than other private colleges.

Dissatisfied due to the placement here.

Placements: Upto 40-50% get the placement in the IT domain and just less than 10% get the placement in the core domain. The highest was 20 lpa, the lowest can be 3 lpa, and the average will be 8-9 lpa. Nvidia, Infineon are some of the companies. Only 20-30 get the internship in the core domain and only in startup companies if available.

Not a good college for pharmacy.

Placements: Only 18 students got the placement in the batch of 54 students, and that too the salary of just 18 thousand per month. Only one came for placement, and that was Cipla, which offered an apprenticeship role in the company. We students didn't have any kind of internship or placement opportunities even after spending 15 lacs of rupees.

Bit Mesra - A college dream of many, sacrifice of many .

Placements: The placement scenario of passing out batch was acceptable. The branches like CSE and IT enjoyed good PPO and placement, while other batches did not have very great placement. I would say almost 70% students were placed, and the top recruiters for CSE were Microsoft, with top roles like SDE I, etc. The highest package was 45 LPA, and the lowest, I am not aware of but a median of 11 LPA was maintained in CSE and IT branch. Some students had internships in Bangalore, Goofle, microsoft and jubillia...
