Honest review about my college.
Placements: Few selected students get placed. I have not yet seen any placement offers come our way. Usually, TCS or Wipro hire from our college. I do not have much information about this. So far, we have not received any placement opportunities; however, internship opportunities are sometimes given.
Infrastructure: The hostel is available with all modern facilities. Wi-Fi, labs, and a library are present in the college. The canteen serves good food, and sports facilities are also available. There is a game room, a canteen, a big campus, a gym, labs in each department, two libraries, and Wi-Fi is provided.
Faculty: The professors are very qualified and helpful. The course is very relevant in today's world and helps students prepare well for all sorts of situations. The exams are conducted by CU, and papers are checked by external examiners. The college follows CU guidelines.
Other: This course is very important in today's world as more attention is drawn towards mental health. The college hosts many events throughout the year, with AALAP being the main event held in December.

It's a great experience.
Placements: Mostly, placements of students are successful within the campus or outside. The B.A students are given proper training for live classroom experience and also are highly enriched in the efficiency of knowledge about interviews. The salary package is quite favorable for students.
Infrastructure: Hostel is especially for Christian students. The hotel is well-accommodated for college-going students. College has Wi-Fi technology for academic purposes. Classrooms and big and spacious. Our library is one of the first open self library.
Faculty: Faculty members are helpful and are very efficient for roles they play in our college. The college evaluation process is very fair but there is one backdrop that it is under Calcutta University, which usually causes problems in the irregularity of exams.

Bangabasi College: A detailed review.
Placements: There was not any placement support available in our college and since it typically provides non-teaching courses and is government-assisted, for most of the students, it was not a big deal. And almost all of them opt for higher studies anyway, so compared to all the other factors that are provided at the college, it is okay.
Infrastructure: The English Department was quite big and comfortable for students to sit in and although there was not any A.C. available in the rooms, it was good enough for a government college. There is no hostel available, though and the canteen food quality is average at best but quite cheap.
Faculty: The faculty members were very good and all of them had their own unique style of teaching and some of them are quite reputed in their field. The course follows the syllabus of Calcutta University properly, and the semester exams are conducted regularly according to the schedule, from moderate to difficult.

There are many good and awesome things in my college but also some things are really not good.
Placements: Some students are placed in this course. The highest package is about 2 to 3 LPA. The average package offered in this course is 1.80 to 2 LPA. 50 to 60% of students got internships from this course. There are many top roles in these courses, like HR, news anchor, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities are awesome and very helpful. Very unique and awesome infrastructure is available for this course. The library is very good; there are many varieties of books available. Very good and fresh quality of foods are available in the canteen and also in the mess.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful; they are qualified with Ph.D.s and master's degrees, and also they are very knowledgeable about this subject. Absolutely, it's perfectly made for the students for the industry. Semester exams are very difficult in this college. The pass percentage is at least 40%.
Other: This course is very updated, and I see very bright opportunities in the future in this course. They should improve the starting salary package. They give a good amount of scholarships, and there are many events happening.

Really good college with well-equipped classrooms and teachers. Placements are not provided.
Placements: Our college does not have a mandatory placement system, so the majority of the students do not opt for a job after the completion of the degree. There are some seminars and workshops held, and the students who are interested join these small internships that come their way. English honors mostly means that the majority of the students go for higher studies or otherwise they work as editors, translators, content writers, etc. Mostly NGOs and social welfare organizations give students a chance to work as volunteers, managers, or social service members.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are big and equipped with smart screens and projectors. Many students can sit at once in the rooms, and the labs for media and psychology are also clean and have all necessary equipment required. The major classrooms have a small seminar library that contains a useful collection of study materials and books. I do not know about the hostel facilities that much, as I was a traveling student, but as I have heard from my peers, the facilities are not that bad.
Faculty: The professors are very knowledgeable and wise with their teaching methods. They pay attention to the students and explain each topic with great detail for each paper. Video, song, handouts, etc., are used to accompany the explanations, which makes it easier to understand. CU conducts the semester exams, but the internal exams are conducted by the college. The exams are not very difficult if the students pay attention to the topics explained in the class.
Other: English has been my strong subject since class 5, so I pursued honors in that subject only. I like reading and writing stories, which makes it easier for me to enjoy the subject while studying for the deeper topics. Literature is a nice thing to study, but for job purposes, it might not be the ideal course that will help you in the resume. I hope that there will be booster electives like content writing, SEO learning, HR information, etc. Campus life at Loreto was very fun and peaceful. The students are well-behaved and disciplined in their daily activities, and rules are followed wherever it is necessary. Annual fests like the samagam and other events are celebrated along with freshers and farewells.

College cries and happy tries.
Placements: Our department has a total of 53 students and it is a semester wise course each for six months. Pursuing English enables us to take up a number of jobs ranging from journal writers to teacher, etc. Internship is provided to every student on merit basis.
Infrastructure: The college building gives us a college-student vibe with long open windows. There are no taps in the washrooms which is a matter of great concern. Technical glitch happens every other day, hence, it is necessary for the college to switch to a network which has a strong connection .
Faculty: Amazing teaching staff. The teachers are effortlessly efficient and they are available 24/7. They don't dismiss classes unless they have to attend a meeting. Classes are held on a regular basis. Loreto college teachers are truly blessed with immense knowledge. Semester exams depend on how the students derives from the lectures .
