The GATE 2024 exam is ongoing for ME/ MTech courses. Further, the official GATE answer key PDF will be released on Feb 21, 2024. Additionally, the GATE 2024 cutoff will be released along with the results on Mar 25, 2024.
Calcutta University MTech Admission 2023
Calcutta University (University of Calcutta) offers a two-year full-time MTech programme in different disciplines. Calcutta University MTech admission process is different for CU and Non-CU candidates.
Calcutta University MTech Admission For CU candidates, admission to MTech programmes is done basis merit and this will be considered admissions under Part ‘A’. However, for some MTech specialisations, CU candidates need to have a valid GATE score. For Non-CU candidates, admission to MTech programmes is done basis University-level entrance exam followed by an interview. However, for some MTech specialisations, Non-CU candidates need to have a valid GATE score. Admission to this section will be considered under Part ‘B’. |

Note: For MTech CSE, the other eligibility options include MCA (with BSc Hons Physics / Maths / Statistics / CS / Electronics Science) from CU only Or MSc in Computer & Information Science (with BSc Hons in CS from CU) Or BTech IT from CU (Non-C.U candidates must have at least 60% aggregate).
