Placements: Top recruiters like Amazon, Deloitte, and EY hire students from our college yearly. Our graduates get placed in various top companies, mostly based on their skills. They have been placed with high salary packages of up to 16.8 Lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: We have excellent library facilities containing numerous books and online resources. We are provided with library cards without any fees. There are good security systems within the hostel, so we don't have to worry about safety.
Faculty: Faculty members are very strict and expect punctuality from everyone. We are strictly required to wear lab uniforms in laboratories and formal attire elsewhere. They deliver content in an understandable way, but it is a bit challenging to clear the exams.

    Pioneers of B.Tech in C U Jammu.
Placements: Actually this our 1st batch of B.Tech in C U Jammu, so technically we are the pioneers of B.Tech in C U Jammu, hence there were no previous batches, hence no placement records. But atleast we got ISRO centre and DRDO centre in our college which will help us in internships or placements. And further more they will give us opportunity to be part of any project.
Infrastructure: C U Jammu is a GFTI but it has a campus of over 650 acres. But its still under construction, in the campus itself there is so much to explore. When we were new in college it us 2 weeks to completely explore the whole campus. About facilities, we got best teachers in my opinion, labs are perfect and Wi-Fi is very good. In case of hostel I would say that we got a very nice service. In the beginning there was a shortage of tables and beds but within few weeks they provided every thing we need. Mess in our hostel is far better than PGs because it have good food. They have medical facilities but normal we don't need it. For sports play grounds are also under construction but nothing can stop us from playing cricket in fields.
Faculty: In my opinion we got way more better teachers, because they are very ambitious about us they have that energy to teach everyday without boredom. Our teachers are qualified and have lot of knowledge. Some of our professors are still doing some projects like video analysis using deep learning and machine learning. Course curriculum is very relevant because I have done some courses related coding and programming languages so for me this curriculum is very relevant. In case of exams im not a topper im just a meritorious students who seeks for knowledge not before marks. So I would say my Maths is little bit weak but in other subjects exams are not that difficult. Passing percentage for semester is 35 to 40 percent marks and upto 75 percent attendance in each class.

    The central university of Jammu.
Placements: There is no placement record at the university because B.Tech programme started here in 2022 but in M.Tech there is good placement. The highest package was around 10 lacs, and average was about 5 Lacs. The top recruiting companies are Tata, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my course is good. They have a separate building for the B.Teach department. The lab has numerous computers and electronic equipment. The library consists of approximately 70000 books that are rich in knowledge. The quality of food in our mess is quite good.
Faculty: All the teachers in the engineering department are very good-natured and supportive. They are highly qualified, whether from IITs or having a doctorate degree in a specific course. Their teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant as it follows the IIT Jammu syllabus. The semester exam is an average type of exam, which means a good student can score a very good CGPA.
Other: I chose this course because I have a lot of interest in electronics engineering. The best thing about the course is having real-life experience.

In this college, placements, infrastructure, and teachers are not good.
Placements: Around 40% of students were placed in our course. The average salary package offered was 1 LPA. Less than 1% of students got internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was not good for students. I would not recommend this college to students. Wi-Fi was not enabled and the laboratory was average. There were no air-conditioners in classrooms. The hostel mess was not good. Sports activities were also not good. Internet services were not good on-premises. There was water scarcity in this college. The playground was not good for cricket and football.
Faculty: Teachers were not good in this college. Semester exams were tough and the pass percentage was 20%. Teachers were not qualified but they provided notes to students. The syllabus was relevant but it did not make students ready for the industry.
Other: I chose the civil course because of my interest in it. Fest was celebrated every year and scholarships were not offered in this college.

Absolutely unhappy because of my hostel.
Placements: No company comes to the college for civil branch. There are various sales and marketing companies like BYJUS, etc. They recruit students through online process, The highest package students can get here is less than 30k per month. There are various construction companies but no one yet comes to the college. Only a few percentage of students got internship from my course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college and the facilities we can get include Wi-Fi in labs, etc. There is a well maintained canteen and washrooms. Sports and games are also good. Hostel facilities do not meet student’s expectations.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is very bad. The course curriculum makes the students industry ready. The toughness of this course depends upon the students. If they study the course from the beginning then they will do not face any problem.
Other: There are a lot of events that happen in the college. The college also provides scholarships. The campus crowd is good.

It's a central university and there are both ISRO and DRDO.
Placements: As we all know, there are only two present batches of Bachelor of Technology, as Bachelor of Technology started last year only, so there are no placement records. But there are ISRO and DRDO departments on campus, so there are opportunities to get a placement and get a decent package .
Infrastructure: Classrooms are well cleaned and newly renovated. There is smart board in classrooms and there is Wi-Fi in every department and also in hostel there is a Wi-Fi and a smart television in mess. The food is decent; and the library is also decent; there are clubs for every sport and other activities .
Faculty: Faculty members are decent, and they are hard working and experienced; they are cooperative and help students as much as they can. There are two minor exams and one major exam in a semester and you have to score a minimum 50 percent for a pass but 7.5 sgpa to maintain good records.
Other: It's a central university with DRDO and ISRO departments, and there are core branches and some specializations. Also, there will be a fest named Udaan held every year in the month of February. There is a decent crowd at the university and you can apply for national and state scholarships. The campus is decent, and electric vehicles are provided on campus .
