Good in all aspects and thoughts of studying and enriching life
Placements: Regarding placements, we have a collaboration with Madras School of Economics to pursue postgraduation over there and get placements from there. In MSE [Madras School of Economics] we have a placement cell. Around 80% of our seniors were placed in campus interviews, The highest salary is 13 lakhs per annum and the lowest is 6 lakhs per annum. Tata, HCL, Infosys, Citi, IMRB, IBM, Mahindra, L&T, Ford, etc. Roles were mainly data analysists, financial advisors, etc. For internships, we get almost 95% from various professors and institutions. The stipend is based on the internship. Placements in CUTN haven't started yet because of the collaboration with MSE.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are very comfortable and have a good infrastructure for the teaching. We have 24 hours Wi-Fi facility. We have a computer center. We have a medical center with ambulance and other essential facilities, sports are well-encouraged here. The quality of classrooms and computer lab is good. We have 3 types of canteens on the campus and the cost is affordable to every student with good quality. In the hostel, per room, 2 students are allotted. Cots will be provided and the condition of rooms is so good. Sometimes, we had water issues because of technical issues. We have a bus facility on the campus.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful and equipped with good knowledge. Their behaviour towards us is very amicable and encouraging towards subject skills. As a central government institution, the faculty squad is so efficient. They use projectors, PPTs models and Internet-based teaching to teach us which is effective in understanding the subject. The ratio of faculty to students is sufficient enough for every subject. We didn't get any exposure to industries because they are not necessary for us. Rather, we had done surveys according to our subject activities. The course curriculum is very useful, interesting and enthusiastic.
Other: As MHRD [Ministry of Human Resources and Development] supported the institution, the courses are well taught by the faculty members. Facilities are good and even a bus facility is there to move inside the campus. People from all parts of India are studying here. Everyone is encouraged based on their talents and cultural tralents are encouraged too. We have NSS[national service scheme]. Central University of Tamilnadu is one of the best choices to graduate yourself from.

CUTN and its campus life.
Placements: Placements are really low as compared to most other private colleges as far as the department of economics is concerned. The Federal bank is currently the only company that is recruiting from the campus. Atleast 3 or 4 people get placed yearly out of the class. The package can be roughly around 3.5 LPA at the minimum.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure provided is pretty decent in the university. The department has a decently equipped computer lab and a department library too in addition to the campus library. The hostel is pretty good, with all the essential facilities and also Wi-Fi for students. There is also a health centre operation inside the university 24x7. The food is quite good, but is dependent on the caterers providing the food. Sports and games are limited, but football, badminton, table tennis, handball, basketball, volleyball, etc. are available. Also, a gym is open 6 days a week.
Faculty: Teachers for the course are well qualified and have expertise in their field of teaching. The teaching quality is also good. The curriculum is pretty good and covers most of the important aspects of the subject. The semester exams at the college are designed to test the expertise of the students on the subject. The exam standards are good and test the knowledge and understanding of the subject.
Other: I chose integrated economics because of the syllabus it covers, which is pretty wide and inclusive of computer programming languages lik R, etc. The course is really diverse, including subjects ranging from mathematics to R programming, etc. The campus life is good as we get to interact with students from almost all parts of India. Also, cultural events of different cultures are celebrated on campus, which was a nice experience.
