CUTN - A mix of everything.

Placements: From economics, we had only 2 placed from a batch of 28 in Federal Bank with 12 LPA, but off-campus placement was pretty good. Alumni work in banks and companies like EY, etc. Many of them went for research and work as teaching assistants, research officers, etc., in various reputed institutions.

CUTN and its campus life.

Placements: Placements are really low as compared to most other private colleges as far as the department of economics is concerned. The Federal bank is currently the only company that is recruiting from the campus. Atleast 3 or 4 people get placed yearly out of the class. The package can be roughly around 3.5 LPA at the minimum.

If students need a good college life, good infrastructure, then they can choose CUTN.

Placements: It provides good opportunities for placements. Many students are getting placed in several companies, banks like SBI, ESAF, also in TNUSRB, etc. In CUTN, students have a special placements cell to discuss and provide such opportunities. They will notify students about all recruitment up-to-date.

Placements are good with good courses, but the faculty members are average.

Placements: Placements in the college were really good. Many companies came to the college to conduct placements and offered good packages. There were around 95% placements this year. Placements were good for our senior batch also as the placement cell committee worked really hard for it. The highest salary package offered was 15 LPA, and the minimum was 6 LPA. Roles offered to students were related to data analytics and consultancy.

I studied in MSE batch 2013-15. The campus is very chilled out. The crowd consists of 50% from Delhi University, 30-40% from Calcutta University and others from rest of the India (including Chennai). The average package stays around 6.5-7.5 Lakhs. If you don't want to study much and still want to earn good, go here. And if you are not good at math this is not the place for you although one does not fail in this college (Exceptions are always there).
