The good old Chandigarh University campus times.

Placements: The roles offered by companies during placements were different from the courses we took. Most of the roles were in human resources or sales. There were a few companies that offered roles in agricultural companies, but they had a tough interview process and didn't select any students. Some of the roles offered very low pay.

Good in teaching but for practicals have less instruments in lab

Placements: In BSC there is no placement in Chandigarh university. In my class on one is placed in any company. For internship they only send one email to the respective laboratories so only 2-3 students get internship but mostly students do not get internships.

CU is not worth the hype.

Placements: Do not expect to get placed by the university. Placements are here a scam. You need to work hard by yourself in order to get placed by the university. The university would provide you with the opportunities but at the end, it's all your skills that would help you with the placement.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of facilities, really good infrastructure and crowd.

Placements: There is no placement for interior design students, and the facilities for the design department are lacking. The department is slowly growing, but the fees are increasing a lot every year.

Review of Chandigarh University (CU).

Placements: Animator, video editor, game designer, 3D modeler, 2D animator, 3D animator, etc. are the top roles offered. The highest package offered by college is 40,000 per month and the lowest is 15000 per month. Not most of the students get internships, but if you want, you have to keep your academic score high.

The faculty is good, but the infrastructure is outdated, and the systems are old.

Placements: The placement situation was average; it depends on your course. Many courses have very good placements, but some do not, resulting in students not being placed. The highest package is around 2 crore, and many courses do offer placements, so you can get placed.

Life at Chandigarh University.

Placements: Students become eligible for campus placements starting from their 6th semester. Many companies do visit the university, like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, and several local startups. Last year, around 50 companies participated, leading to over 200 offers. As I am a fresher, I don't have any personal knowledge, but my senior told me that the maximum package was 30 LPA.

Placements: Attending this college in terms of placements has been a major disappointment. The promises made during the admissions process about top-tier companies recruiting students turned out to be completely hollow. The number of companies actually coming to the college for recruitment is lower than advertised. Firstly, the placement cell is highly disorganized and lacks a proactive approach. Communication with students is poor, with important updates often being delivered at the last minute, causing un...

Placements: 20% of students in our batch are placed in retail only every year. Branded companies come to take interviews; the companies are also very few. No design placement has been given to the students. Companies like Nike, etc. are very nice and good.
