Chandigarh University (CU) Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,

Placements: Up to 90% of students got placed in my course. The highest package was almost 54 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Club Mahindra, MakeMyTrip, Travel Triangle, etc. Up to 95% of students got internships in companies like Thomas Cook, Travel Triangle, Journey Cook, and Club Mahindra. The top roles offered in this course are travel agent, tour guide, entrepreneur, ticket agent, and many roles after foreign exchange opportunities.

Placements: The highest package of this university was from my course, Computer Science. The highest package was 1.07 crore, that was from a foreign company. The lowest package was 3 Lacs per annum, and the average package is 8 Lacs per annum, which makes CU the no.1 private university in India. Top recruiting companies are Google, TCS, IBM, etc. Many students get a chance to do internships in the 2nd year as it gives exposure to your experience. Placements: There are only 25-30 students who get placed in every batch from all departments, such as LL.B., B.A., LL.B., BBA LL.B., B.Com. LL.B, etc. B.Com. LL.B. (Hons.) is very weak compared to the total strength of the university. The average package is listed about 5 Lacs in their website but I believe it to be comparatively less. Most students were placed in law firms in Chandigarh or Delhi. As for law department, the placement record is not so good.

Placements: In this university, they are providing a lot of things, not only education, culture, and games. In the last year, the pass-out batch had 60-70% of students get placed and also 80% of students getting internships. The highest package of my course is 28 LPA. If we work hard, we will definitely get placement with a good package.

Placements: If you're doing B. Tech in ECE from Chandigarh University, then chances of you getting placed are low. Companies do come for ECE, but it's not that much compared to the CSE branch. College does provide companies for internships, but that is also in fewer numbers, so I must say to join CSE instead of ECE.

Placements: Marketing placements were more. Even in banking fields and banking companies, mostly companies were referring students with marketing specialisation in minor. Companies for finance was very less. Recession is also going on so can't blame the university for that.

Placements: MBA has mostly sales placements for CU. Other specializations don't usually have good placements. Also, most sales jobs are in the average of 3-6 Lacs (including incentives). But seeing the fields, the placements are good, I guess, because you don't need a CAT score to get into CU.

Placements: This university provides placements to the dedicated and knowledgeable candidates based on walk in interviews. It's up to us that how we appear in interviews. But upon talking to my seniors and some passout students they don't provide placements to courses like M.A. English but they do provide placements to other courses.

Placements: Placement opportunities are good here, but the crowd is very large, so you have to fight for good placements. The highest placement this year was around 53 LPA, with an average package of 7.5 LPA. If you have good skills, you can get very good placements here.

Placements: Almost 70% of students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 13.5 LPA The average salary package offered is 6 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 3.8 LPA. ZS Associates, Nokia, Amdocs, Adobe, Deloitte, EY, Sunlight Global Solutions, and Aptiv are some of the top recruiting companies. About 50% of placements are from Nokia, KPMG, EY, and Deloitte. Roles offered included web developer, associate software engineer, business consultant, and data scientist.

Placements: Chandigarh University provides almost all students to place in companies. Several different companies comes and visit college for placement drives. The highest package is above 1 crore per annum internationally in 2023 and 57 LPA in 2024. Average package is approximately 18 lap - 25 LPA. CU provides various offers in course like data analyst, cloud computing, IT, and more.

Placements: Placements are good in CU. High number of students got placed from courses like B.Tech, and MBA. Placement of B.A. LL.B. is quite good, with 60% of the batch placed. Most students opt to practice law in their respective state bar council, while many of them prepare for government exams and judiciary. Placements: Our college has different internship opportunities one of which is Cargar, a startup founded by PDPU students. They provide internships to enthusiastic students of 1st or 2nd year. They also provide a stipend if student is doing well in an internship.

Placements: Around 100% of students got placed. Over 900 companies visit every year. The highest salary package offered is 50 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA-9 LPA. Companies like Google, Microsoft, and Walmart visited for placements. Around 100% of students secured internships from our college in top companies.

Placements: More than 9000 students are placed in my university. The highest international salary package offered is 1.7 crore per annum and the highest national salary package offered is 54 LPA. Many companies visit our university, like TCS (Tata Consultancy Services). In Tata Consultancy Services, many students are placed with good packages.

Placements: According to my knowledge, almost 40 seniors were placed among 70 seniors. So, the placement rate is almost 80%. The highest package offered was 50 Lacs per annum, and the minimum was 4 Lacs per annum. Top roles offered were HR, and almost 90% of students got internship offers from companies.

Placements: From the 7th semester, you will sit in the placement cycle. If I talk about this year, then companies like Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Chegg, Uber, McKinsey, etc. visited. Around 40-50 companies have visited till now. For the highest package, it's for Microsoft, and this year it's 53 lacs. And the average package for software companies is around 12 lacs. The percentage of students getting placed is very low this year; around 30-40% are placed till now, and this cycle continues till the end of May....

Top recruiters like Google, Microsoft, and Amazon visit. 20-70% of students got internships in companies like Microsoft and JP Morgan.

Placements: Our undergraduate batch had a placement rate of around 80%. The highest package offered was 12 LPA, the lowest was 3 LPA, and the average package was 5.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies included Infosys, Wipro, TCS, and Capgemini. Approximately 60% of the students secured internships with companies like Cognizant, HCL, and Deloitte. The most common roles offered were Software Developer, Web Developer, Data Analyst, and IT Support Associate.

Placements: No students were placed in my course as the Forensic Science department has no placement drive. Students can take internships from police stations, CFSL, and SFSL; they are government and free of cost. Forensic Science is a course where you don't get placements, so hoping for one after completing B.Sc. is a waste of time. Instead, one should focus on completing their Masters in Forensic Science.
