It is the best private college in North India. All the faculty members are very good. I also like the environment of this college. Sports are encouraged here, the college has a gym and a huge library which consists almost every book that you might need. The college also provides bus facility for day scholars.

The college is very nice. There are both good and bad points. The best is the weather there and the worst is its remote location. You will enjoy being in this college. Also the faculty is good. Campus life and hostel life is great. Students from diverse backgrounds are here.

This college has excellent teachers, campus with all the modern facilities, high end labs, indoor basketball court, badminton courts, volleyball court, and cricket and football field. This is one of the best college in the region. It provides healthcare facilities, 100% placement and some of the best minds of the nation teach here. I had the best college experience ever here. Strict yet fun. Pros: ultimate weather, environment to study and explore. Cons: uniform in mandatory and some strict rules to follow. Crowd is ultimate. You get many opportunities. A very good place to explore your potential at.

Along with studies, what is taken care of is the discipline. Unlike other colleges, this college has uniform for the students, does not allow them to use cellphones, and maintains high discipline levels in and around the campus. Truly one of the best colleges in India.

The college has good capability to get all the students placed. Though it is not a very old college but the alumni base and facilities are comparable to best of the engineering colleges. College lacks a big campus and sports facilities. As, it is at a secluded place so it becomes difficult to hang out after college, moreover students are not allowed to go out of the college before 4:30 PM. Otherwise, college is quite professional and student need to wear college dress every day.

University rather I should say a small engineering college. The place has only courses for B.tech and for MBA and they call themselves a university. It’s a nice place though in Himachal where the crowd is fun and good looking but don't expect something intelligent from the campus. Go there if you want to enjoy a simple college life in the wilderness of Himachal Pradesh.

Chitkara University is an excellent college. I got placement in Accenture before my degree completion. Great training & placement cell which helps everyone to get the job. 80% of my batch mates got placed easily in good organization. It is one of the best institutes near Chandigarh.

In terms of faculty members, you will not be disappointed at all. Crowd is awesome and campus is really refreshing. Yearly conduction of technical and cultural fest will keep you occupied. All the resources you will need are present in campus. Not really sure about quality of food though.
