Satisfied with the college life. But dissatisfied with the lack of a competitive environment.
Placements: Placement is available to almost 100% of students. But the quality will vary, so most people prefer litigation. The highest package is 80,000 per month. The lowest is 20,000. Infosys, Malappuram Finance, etc. are the top recruiters. It is mandatory to do internships. So all students do internships. The faculty members are helpful in recommending us to top institutions for performing internships. However, paid internships are very few in number. Legal advisory is the top role offered.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, digital libraries, physical libraries, and software such as Manupatra and Grammarly are provided to students, and bus facilities for students in Kochi; however, Manupatra remote access is not given. Hostel facilities are also provided with only RS 400/month. The quality of food is good as the mess is run by students.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and highly qualified. All permanent faculty members have a Ph.D. in a specific forte. There is a well-structured moot court committee and a research club to facilitate moot court culture and research. Curriculum is based on the latest legal developments and is constantly updated, offering great help for students. Semester exams are relatively moderate. The pass percentage is also high, with around a 92% pass mark in the final semester.
Other: The campus life is a top experience. You meet a lot of highly qualified colleagues from the law department as well as the engineering department. These relationships will be of great help while building your law career. Political parties are also active. The biggest concern is the basic infrastructure facilities like toilets, washrooms, Manupatra remote access, sick rooms, etc. There are a lot of hostel fests, department fests, and student union activities like the Cochin University Film Festival, SARGAM (arts), Astra (sports), Kurukshetra (sports), and various other fests. Lots of clubs are active, like the Research Club, Moot Court Committee, Chess Club, etc.

Our college has good infrastructure, ambiance, and faculty members.
Placements: Almost 100% of students who completed the course at our college were placed at several top firms. Top recruiting companies like Federal Bank, Infopark, etc., visited our campus. All students applying for placements get placed with the help of the placement cell. The salary offered is Rs. 60,000 per month.
Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi in classrooms, the department library, the university library, and some hostels. Facilities provided help students study easily and give access to all materials required for the same. Hostels are equipped with gym facilities. The food is affordable and decent.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is integrated and relevant. Semester exams are adequately tough but can be tackled easily with studies. Since students have to face the legal field or business field after the course, it teaches all things required. The pass percentage is 78%.

    School of legal studies, CUSAT.
Placements: Students have been placed in institutions like the Federal Bank in previous years. This year, 10 students were placed at an esteemed institution, Manappuram Finance, with a starting package of 4.2LPA, and 2 students were placed at Plan@Earth, with a head office at Aluva, for an internship as well.
Infrastructure: The department is facilitated with an extensive and hybrid library. Students are also given access to facilities such as Manupatra, CDJ law Journal, etc. Hostels are well maintained and have access to free Wi-Fi. Study halls and areas for sports are allocated. Mess halls and TVs are provided in all hostels. There are also various other activities, such as dance classes and gymnasiums, in the girls' hostel compounds. The mess is maintained by student committees. There are 8 hostels for boys and 6 for girls, all surrounded by greenery and with good ventilation. There is a separate hostel for international students.
Faculty: The faculty members are highly knowledgeable and scholars in their fields. They are all very approachable and helpful in academic subjects and in matters such as internships, etc. The course curriculum is based on the direction by the Bar Council of India. The semester exams are standard and internal exams are conducted throughout the course, covering the syllabus.
Other: A degree in law is of great importance in prospects of acquiring central government jobs, corporate jobs, etc. Something I wish were improved is the induction of freshmen, as students may have a hard time coping to the new college atmosphere and system. Several cultural programmes are conducted every year and a university arts festival is conducted annually as well. The campus is very lively and vast and it is not at all suffocating for students. All amenities are available either within the campus or within a short walkable distance.

I found my right college and the last 5 years spent there are absolutely my best years.
Placements: Half of the students who SAT for placements this year got jobs. The highest package this year was 5,00,000/-. Top recruiting companies this year were Infosys, Muthoot Finance Corp., and Legal Ease. The college offers BBA and B.Com. LL.B. (HONS). An equal number of students were given positions in firms.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college lacks a bit, and it is a demerit, but since its a very old campus and a new building underway would solve this issue, the college has an in-house law library even though the whole campus has a university library as well. Hostel facilities are separate for both boys and girls; there is a student run mess functioning at both girls and boys hostels. Amenities such as indoor games, first aid, and in-house cleaning staff are also present in hostels.
Faculty: Teachers are extremely qualified and really helpful during and post exams. They support and guide you through inter- and intra-college events other than academics. The curriculum followed is relevant and enables pupils to critically think and drives futuristic goals and aspects in them. The moot competitions and paper presentations enable pupils to be industry-ready. Exams are not that difficult, but fallouts can happen if no preparation is done for the same.
Other: I chose BBA LL.B. at CUSAT since it is a double degree and its BBA LL.B. (HONS). The course enables you to select electives by last year, and you get to choose subjects relevant to the field. The campus life and cultural and sporting events go through out the year, offering various exposure to students.
