Frequently Asked Questions

Q:   What is the DU selection process for B.Ed programme?

A:

Candidates can apply for DU admission via Common University Entrance Test (CUET). Before applying for the course, aspirants must check out the eligibility requirements. To apply students can visit NTA official website. After the entrance test, the cutoff marks are made available beind the login on the official samarth portal of the university. At the time of CUET registration, aspirants must selection DU as a preference.

Q:   Can I take admission to DU with 60% in Class 12?

A:

DU is considered one of the most competitive universities in India for Commerce, Science and Arts education at the undergraduate level. The university and its affiliated colleges was attracting the cream layer of crowd till the time admission was subject to Class 12 scores. While reserved category candidates still had minor chances of getting into a not-so-popular course of DU with 60% in Class 12, a General category student with 60% had no chance of getting into any good college or course at DU.

However, starting 2022, DU admission process has shifted to CUET-UG based admission process. Those with a valid score in CUET UG exam who have passed their Class 12 are eligible to take admission now. While the chances of getting into a good DU college are still low at this score, the chances of getting a seat have increased now (provided you score extremely well in CUET UG).

I am satisfied with the faculty members of law.
Placements: Internship opportunities are provided in the final year. Many legal firms and advocates approach the campus to hire students as interns. It has the world's largest faculty members with the strength of almost 3000 students at a time. One of the top 3-year LL.B. course colleges. Most of the top supreme court lawyers and judges are pass out from the faculty of law, DU.
Infrastructure: Hostels facilities at Delhi University, faculty of law is of top class. The food, rooms, environment is very healthy and friendly and at a very cheap price, like Rs 5000 per month which is very affordable for students with such a great library, classrooms, laboratories.
Faculty: Faculty of law Delhi University has the best teachers on their campus. If students are into studies, and teachers will help them throughout the process. It will help students to study in every aspect. If they can get marks in their exams for last-minute study. Then they have to study the entire semester to pass their exam and have to study very deeply.

I am absolutely satisfied because of good placements, really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: About 70% of the students were placed from our course. In our course, the average salary package offered ranges from 10 LPA to 12 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 6 LPA, and the highest salary package offered ranges from 15 LPA to 20 LPA. Many primary and secondary schools recruit students from our course. Only 22% of the students get internships from our course in top secondary schools like Sarvodaya School or School of Excellence, etc. Many roles are offered in our course.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available in our course are very good. Classrooms are very clean and hygienic. Labs are good, but some substances are not available. The library is also good and equipped with books. But Wi-Fi is not available in our course/department. The quality of the facilities provided in our course is good, but some important things are not available. The quality of the food available in the mess is good, but sometimes it will have a foul smell and taste. Canteens are good, but cleaners do not clean them daily. Medical facilities are good. Sports are also good, and all the equipment is available.
Faculty: Teachers in our course are very helpful, attentive and good. They teach very well, and they attend classes daily. They are qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is very well. The course curriculum is relevant and supportive. It makes students industry-ready.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in teaching. Moreover, Delhi University is best for this course, and teachers are also good. Our college is also clean and hygienic. I think DU college needs to be improved more. Our college is also crowded, and the events organised are also good and enjoyable here. I got a scholarship also.

Sorry to say, but unfortunately you can't do B.Ed in the Hindi Language as a subject. For taking admission, you have to first complete BA in Hindi, then apply for B.Ed and you can do that through distance mode also no issue in that it is totally accepted everywhere.
