DU BA Eligibility & Highlights 2025
Delhi University BA course is offered in more than 180 BA (programme) combinations. Some of the specialisations, in which BA (Hons) at DU is offered are Political Science, Psychology, Journalism, French, etc. Starting from 2022, admission for all UG courses at DU is based on CUET (conducted by NTA). Q: Is there entrance exam for BA (honours) in DU?
At the undergraduate level, the University of Delhi offers BA (Hons) across 29 specialisations out of which 23 offered merit-based admission and the remaining offered entrance-based (DUET) admission to the students till 2021. Additionally, the University also offers BA Prog. course across multiple subject combinations (across different colleges) in which admission is completely based on merit scores obtained by the students in Class 12. However, starting 2022, DU admission to all the UG courses will get conducted via CUET UG.
DU BA Admission 2025: How to Apply?
For Delhi University BA admission, aspirants need to have a valid score of CUET-UG. CUET stands for Common University Entrance Test, while CUCET stands for Central University Common Entrance Test. Thus, students must appear for the exam by taking their DU CUET admit card. The course admission is a multi-step process, which includes an appearance in the relevant exam, registration for DU CSAS, CSAS counselling process, merit list release and seat allocation.
