    Q:   What is the effectiveness of the placement cell for B.E. / B.Tech programs at DBATU?

    A:
    {Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}

    Here's the effectiveness of the placement cell for B.E./B.Tech programs at DBATU:

    Placement Cell Overview

    * The placement cell is active and offers on-campus and off-campus placement opportunities.
    * Several companies, including IT, manufacturing, chemical industries, and others, visit the campus to recruit students.
    * The placement cell provides training and project opportunities for students.

    Placement Statistics

    * Around 5% of students are placed through campus placements.
    * The highest salary package offered is INR8.5 Lacs per annum, while the lowest is INR2.4 Lacs per annum.
    * Most students obtain placements through external sources.

    Notable Recruiters

    * Torrent Power
    * Sudarshan Chemical Pvt. Ltd
    * Supreme Chemical
    * Asahi Pvt. Ltd
    * Others (TCS, Wipro, HCL, Persistent, Tata Consulting, Siemens, JSW Steel, Jindal, Infosys, Finolex, Blue Star)

    Area of Improvement

    * Limited number of companies visiting the campus for recruitment.
    * Placement officer's behavior is reported to be unhelpful.

    Note: These findings are based on the reviews and feedback provided by students and alumni of DBATU. While the placement cell seems to be active, there appears to be room for improvement in terms of increasing the number of recruiters visiting the campus and enhancing the overall placement experience.

    It is the best university in all aspects.
    Placements: The percentage of students getting placed in this course is nearly 40%. The highest salary package offered is about 6 LPA. This university is big so recruiting companies are also big like Tata, Mahindra, etc. Roles offered are front-end and back-end developed. College is good in placements.
    Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is really big and very beautiful. It provides all facilities to students. Access to Wi-Fi for all students is available. Labs, classrooms, and library are also available. The library is really big and all the books are available. Sports and other activities are also supported.
    Faculty: Teachers are helpful in all formats. They teach very well and give practicals for all chapters. Teachers are highly educated holding degrees like Ph.D. Semester exams are not much hard. The passing criteria need 40 marks out of 100.
    Other: I chose this course because it is a technological university that focuses on technical things. The best thing about college is that I like the environment. Events, fests, and extracurricular activities are conducted.

    Offered by Ashokrao Mane Group of Institutions (AMGOI)

    A Comprehensive Journey at Ashok Rao Mane Group of Institutions.
    Placements: I am currently in my third year of electronics and telecommunication engineering at Ashok Rao Mane Group of Institutions. My batch is set to graduate in 2026. In the previous year’s batch, around 98 percent of students were placed in companies like Desai Electronics, Infosys, TCS, Wipro, etc. The highest package offered in my course was INR 11 LPA. The lowest package was INR 6 LPA. The roles offered in our course include Design Engineer, Network Engineer, Embedded Sys Engineer, etc.
    Infrastructure: Our department is equipped with well-maintained laboratories like the Electronics Design Lab, Embedded System Lab, Communication Lab, Computer Lab, etc. Classrooms are spacious and well-ventilated, and equipped with projectors for interactive learning. The campus is equipped with Wi-Fi for learning purposes. The college has hostel facilities for long-distance students. The hostels are very clean and hygienic. The wardens are placed there for the safety of students and discipline. A mess is also available.
    Faculty: The faculty in our department are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Most of the professors are Ph.D. holders with 10-15 years of teaching experience. They are approachable and supportive. The course curriculum is well-structured and covers all core subjects like Digital and Analog Electronics, Microcontroller, Communication Network, Embedded System, etc. The semester exams are taken under the DBATU University. They are moderately difficult. For the internal marks and practice purpose, three exams are conducted in college before the final exam under the college staff. The passing criteria or percentage is 5 SGPA.
    Other: I chose this course because I have a lot of interest in electronics, and I have basic knowledge of electronics. The best thing about this course is that electronics is a vast topic, and everything is new and different from other fields. Electronics is the future of our country. Things that could have been better are not so much, but coding languages should be included in the course. The college conducts most of the events, fests, and sports events. The campus of the college is well-surrounded and huge. All types of government scholarships are applicable in our college.

    There is a lack of good placement opportunities.
    Placements: In our branch, our HOD ma'am is taking charge of our training for recruiting in mass recruiting companies like Tech Mahindra and TCS. In our batch, 40 students have gotten jobs at 3 LPA as Associate Software Engineers or System Engineers. We did internships through HOD ma'am's reference, which will benefit us.
    Infrastructure: The infrastructure for computer engineering students is not adequate for practicals, and maintaining computer systems in classrooms is insufficient. The student mess and canteen do not offer hygienic food, but the grounds and sports facilities are well-maintained.
    Faculty: The faculty members are supportive and guide us about government exams and industrial requirements, although they lack teaching experience. They try their best, giving their full effort. The course curriculum is not strong due to the university's leniency in semester exams.

    With good infrastructure, activities and opportunities for students.
    Placements: In my course, almost more than 60% of students were placed last year. The highest package was 8 lakhs in mechanical, and the lowest was 2.45 lakhs, and about 3.25 lakhs is an average package. Mahindra offered the highest package to one of our students. Almost 45 to 50% of students got internships from college placement, and the remaining on their own also are some of them. And the top roles offered in our course in the last batch were design engineer, marketing, etc.
    Infrastructure: The college has two buildings with multiple floors, and mechanical engineering is on the B building's 1st floor. We have excellent labs for workshops with all equipment. While there are also some extra curriculars this year like Exploration, which is for 1st-year students who aim to teach them logical thinking. 2. The hostel is mainly for girls. 100% of girls will get the hostel facility from the college, which is much more affordable than others in the surrounding area. Almost 4 and 6-seater rooms are available, and the mess facilities are the best.
    Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified, and some of them are from IIT as well. Teaching is mostly very easy to understand due to staff's easy conversation. The course is too much relevant. As I am working at BAJA, all the concepts we learn are applicable in industries. We have done labs and Baja and Tifan Labs in our department for extra curriculum for 2nd-year students (first-year students are not applicable for these labs due to a lack of concepts required in those labs).
    Other: I am a mechanical student, and it is not easy for me as a girl to choose it, but my aim is to be a design engineer, and Chh. Sambhajinagar has so many industries that are for mechanical, like Valuj, etc. I am working in Baja for making an ATV which runs on hydrogen and electricity. For 2025-26, we are planning to make an ATV of autonomous, i.e., a self-driving car. This will allow more branches like CSE, AIDS, ACT, VLSI, electrical, and electronics branches to join this extra curriculum for more placement. From these extra curriculars, placement has boasted in college this year.

    Satisfied because of the supportive faculties, good opportunities, college campus, and good learning
    Placements: Around 60% of students were placed this year. The highest package was 10 LPA and the average is 4 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Tech Mahindra, and HCL Tech. Almost 70% of the batch has secured their internship in the 8th semester. Apart from technical roles, companies also offer digital marketing roles.
    Infrastructure: There is no separate hostel facility for the hostelites. The computer labs and Wi-Fi labs are available with an adequate number of machines. The library is well-equipped with books. One canteen is in the college with good food available at an affordable rate.
    Faculty: Faculty members are supportive in nature. The department helps students take part in various coding contests and have thorns, but it’s upon the student who grabs those opportunities and excels. The course curriculum is relevant to the latest trends and technology, and also aptitude, group discussion, and soft skills are available in the curriculum for better training of the student.
    Other: I chose this course because of the rise in talks about artificial intelligence and machine learning, so I thought this was the hottest course. Very few colleges were offering B.Tech in artificial intelligence, so I chose this college. Just more participation from the students and also more technical events included would be very helpful for students who really want to code and grow.

    The college isn't great but is considered good for girls in Osmanabad district.
    Placements: In our batch, only 2 students got placement in TCS. After passing out, we did internships and courses to improve our chances of getting jobs. One student got selected for an associate role at TCS with a 3 LPA package.
    Infrastructure: The college lacks well-maintained labs and sufficient classroom space. The buildings are old-fashioned, not ideal for computer and electronics students. There is a shortage of labs for various software programming. Practical sessions mostly involve reading and observations. Sports and games facilities are available but with extra charges.
    Faculty: Currently, faculty members are M.Tech students. They lack teaching experience and are unaware of industrial opportunities. The course curriculum does not include marks for internships, nor is it compulsory to do projects or internships.
