I'm dissatisfied with the course at this college.
Placements: Around 40% of students with required skills got placed. Securing internships in other hospitals is difficult. Multi-specialty hospitals provide jobs for this course. The salary package offered is low, it depends on which place we are working. After pursuing higher studies, we can get a good package. We can secure internships easily without any training in the specialty department.
Infrastructure: In our college, they provide only theoretical knowledge but not practical. Labs are available for cardiac ops, but we haven’t been trained yet.
Faculty: Teachers only display PPT slides. A few teach well, but not every teacher. Some teachers simply come to the class, teach the topic, and leave. They won’t teach practically, so we have to go to off-campus hospitals to gain practical knowledge. There is no communication between faculty members and students. Department programs are conducted rarely. No other events, like entertainment or cultural programs, are held in our college.
Other: I thought this course was in high demand and had a good scope in the future, but the syllabus for this course in this college is insufficient. Compared to this, other colleges provide good theory knowledge as well as practical knowledge.

Good campus life and faculty members are so friendly, but the placement will not be provided.
Placements: Above 50% is eligibility for place this course. Salary is Rs. 15000-Rs.40000 per month in India. MMM hospital, every student got an internship in my college. Cardiac technologists, Cath lab technologists. Assistant for cardiology. Echo technologists. Students should gain a general knowledge of medicine and get placed in the physician assistant.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are spacious. Canteen food is too expensive. Medical facilities are free, and registration fees are waived for students with an ID card. Sports quota is available. The mess and four canteens are functional, but the cost is very high. Full safety is ensured, but stationery items are also too expensive.
Faculty: Teachers are friendly and knowledgeable. Semester examinations are easy, depending on our preparation level. The pass percentage is 60%. Students are permitted to appear for exams only if they have 50% attendance. Otherwise, a fine will be collected. Students are often rushed to pay the fees.
Other: I love to study about the heart, so I chose cardiac technology. Couses are not in Chennai. Events and festivals will be conducted simultaneously. Campus life is so beautiful and so enjoyable.

About my college and my college infrastructure.
Placements: My college has an average level of placements; only a few get qualified for the placements. The college has many companies for placement and ties up with top companies like TCS, etc. They also offer many roles for students and teach them effectively.
Infrastructure: The faculty in our college is good, and the infrastructure is also well-maintained. The faculty are very friendly and teach us clearly. They also help clear doubts online and are always approachable.
Faculty: In my college, especially for my course, three exams are conducted per semester: one mid-term exam, one pre-semester exam, and one semester exam. There are no exams in between, but some class tests are conducted.
Other: I chose this course at my college because I want to become a biotechnologist.

Mostly satisfied with the infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Over 70% of the students were placed in top recruiting companies such as TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Reliance Industries, and Amazon. The top roles offered include Software Engineer, Business Analyst, Mechanical Engineer, Marketing Associate, Sales Associate, etc. The highest package offered was 13 LPA, with an average salary ranging from 3 to 5 LPA, while the lowest salary offered stood at 2.3 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college does not have Wi-Fi except for the admission office. The classrooms are good, and the college also has a library with many books. The hostel won't be satisfactory, and the food quality is subpar. However, the college does offer proper medical facilities and multiple sports amenities.
Faculty: The teachers, while not particularly friendly, are highly qualified and knowledgeable. The quality of teaching is good, and the course curriculum remains relevant. Our college provides good placements.
Placements: Almost 25% of students got placed in this course. Top recruiting companies are Heeds, Hybrid, etc. Around 75% of students got internships in the Tamil cinema and television field. It is the best college for students.
Infrastructure: In our college, the studio is great. The canteen is perfect. Medical facilities are good. I am a day scholar, so I do not know about hostel facilities. I have heard from friends that hostels are very good. There are strict rules in the hostel for girls.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful. HOD is very friendly with students. The teaching quality is better. They also provide practical knowledge to students.
Other: Our campus life is great.

Knowledgeable faculty, friendly campus and free counselling make the dept stand out.
Placements: For psychology, there is no placement is provided. But there is a compulsory internship program is given with accredited clinics and hospitals. Moreover, nowadays extra certification is mandatory apart from degree. They are guiding the students NPTEL online certification, which is a mandatory subject in a semester, which helps the student much better. And to add on a point, paper presentation is mandatory for all the students, which in future helps a lot while searching for a job.
Many outreach programs are also initiated which helped the students to learn leadership, teamwork, empathy, communication skills which are the basic skills for psychologists.
Infrastructure: To elaborate about the laboratory, it has more psychological assessments, psychological kits and tools. And most of the psychology related colleges in Chennai, would visit our college for excelling in tools. And climbing to the part of library, psychology related books are there, but E-Books are mostly send via WhatsApp group by our HOD, every week from various foreign and Indian authors.
Classrooms are well maintained with smart boards and projectors for an advanced classroom.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable. They were helpful in clearing the doubts then and there, and was also ready to retake the classes when in need of not clarified.
The course curriculum was relevant, actually on the first year end they sent us for internship training in hospitals at psychiatry department, we don?t know anything about how it works, we learnt from scratch in hospitals and after the training period we tend to know how to mould ourselves in a working environment, and in the 2nd year the full curriculum was based on how psychiatry department works, during semesters we were excited to write because we have the practical knowledge before the classroom knowledge.
To tell about the semester exams, as it is a deemed to be University, question papers are from our faculty members. If there is 10 questions, 5 questions are only from book knowledge, balance questions will be on a practical intervention and HOTS related questions. Exams are conducted in a very strict manner with flying squads and other department staffs will be the investigator. Pass percentage will be 50%
