DUCET Syllabus

Get the prescribed syllabus and stick to it as all questions asked in the entrance exam will be asked from the syllabus itself. Be it history or political science or even folklore, students should be up to date with current affairs when it comes to humanities and science courses. Whenever you are covering a topic, ensure that you understand all the details and it is better understood when written down. Revise the syllabus once completed. Cover topics from tough to easy, section to section. If you are not good with history dates, write them down, associate the content with the date to help remember better.

How to Prepare for DUCET

Candidates can follow the below-mentioned steps and pointers on how to go about your preparation.

Create a Time Table: By creating a time table, you can cover every aspect and material in the syllabus. Also, you will have time to revise. You can do so by creating a chart on how much content you can cover in an hourly, daily and weekly basis. Distribute the time between the topics you find hard to cover and ones where you just need to glance through.

Solve Previous Years' Question Papers: The best way possible to test yourself is by solving the previous years' question papers. Through that, you will understand the exam pattern, the marking scheme, the rules and instructions, the type of questions asked, the topics which are mostly covered from the syllabus, etc.

Revise: Once you have studied the topic, at the end of the day before closing your books, revise what you have studied once again. The more you revise, the better you will understand the topics going forward and can relate. Give the topics you have studied a glance before winding up.

Rest: Other than studies, give your eyes a break and get enough rest for you to be fresh. There is no point stuffing information as it does not register in the mind if you are too tired. Get the deserved rest and there is no need to stress out. With a time table, stick to it and the syllabus will be completed.
