CPGET 2024 Syllabus: CPGET Syllabus 2024 will be available at the official website of the Osmania University, the exam conducting body before the CPGET exam. Candidates preparing for the CPGET (OUCET) Exam will be required to check the official website of Osmania University or Shiksha's page to know about CPGET Syllabus 2024. CPGET Exam is conducted to provide admission to candidates in various PG courses. Candidates are suggested to check the CPGET Syllabus released by Osmania University as all questions framed in the CPGET (OUCET) Entrance Exam are based on the syllabus provided by the university. CPGET syllabus can assist candidates to prepare for CPGET 2024 exam accordingly. The candidates are supposed to appear for the CPGET Exam 2024 and those qualifying it, are called for CPGET Admission or CPGET counselling for further admission process.CPGET Exam will be held as per the prescribed exam syllabus to provide admissions to candidates in Osmania University. Q:   What is CPGET all about?

A:

The Common Post Graduate Entrance Test (CPGET) is an entrance exam conducted by Osmania University. Candidates can secure admission to various PG, PGD (postgraduate diploma) courses and five-year integrated courses which are offered by Osmania, Telangana, Mahatma Gandhi and Palamuru Universities by giving this entrance exam. It was named Osmania University Common Entrance Test )OUCET) first but is now recognised as CPGET by the Osmania University. However, it is still commonly referred to as OUCET.

Q:   What is the exam pattern for CPGET 2024?

A:

CPGET 2024 exam will be conducted by Osmania University. The duration of CPGET exam will be of 90 minutes and the entrance test consists of 100 questions. The total marks for the CPGET exam is 100 marks. The CPGET exam 2024 contains 100 multiple choice questions of 1 mark each.

Q:   What are the eligibility criteria to apply for the CPGET exam?

A:

In order to be eligible for admission into a course, the candidate 

  1. Must have passed the Qualifying Examination and secured the prescribed Minimum Marks in the subject (s) /course (s) concerned as mentioned in the Information Brochure, and
  2. Must have qualified in Common P G Entrance Test conducted in the concerned subject in which admission is sought.
    For administrative reasons, the Convenor may, conduct the entrance test before the publication of the results of the
    qualifying examination concerned. But qualifying at the Entrance Test alone does not confer any right of admission into
    a course. In addition to being qualified at the Common Entrance Test, a candidate will be eligible for admission only if
    he/she passes the qualifying examination before the commencement of admissions process and secure the prescribed
    minimum marks in the subject (s) / course (s) concerned. He / She must submit the necessary documents listed under
    item VII of these instructions at the time of counseling.
