It is a good university in terms of infrastructure and sports.
Placements: There are many good companies that visit the campus for providing jobs to students, like Wipro, HCL, Airtel, Oppo, Vivo, etc. Here, internships as well as placements are very good, and most of the students get placed in good companies. Very active placement cell.
Infrastructure: The entire campus is Wi-Fi-enabled, with a great library, labs with proper equipment, smart classrooms, and a fully packed college. The campus has all the facilities like a canteen, mess, game centers, infirmary, etc. Very good quality of food that the university provides.
Faculty: The only issue is that assignments are not assigned as much as they should have been, but the quality of teaching is great and appreciable. There are many permanent teachers and outstanding staff members to provide the best studying experience. Very good.
Other: The entire campus is Wi-Fi-enabled, with a great library, labs with proper equipment, smart classrooms, and a fully packed college. The campus has all the facilities like a canteen, mess, game centers, infirmary, etc.

Good infrastructure but not satisfied with the curriculum.
Placements: Here, placement facilities are available but it's good for those who are lucky enough to grab the opportunity. The other placement cell is not that good; it's average. Here off campus placement is really great; last year off campus package was 51 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the university is really very fine. But it lacks in little maintenance; otherwise, all facilities are available, like sports grounds, indoor gyms, club buildings, etc. Hostel and mess are also good. The quality of food in the mess is genuinely good; it's better than any other college mess .
Faculty: Faculty is lenient over assignments and other stuff. They are easily approachable for doubts and queries. All facilities are well qualified. But the curriculum is very old-fashioned; it is not at all industry-ready. The frequency of the exam is 2: midterm and endterm. The level of the exam is moderate, not very tough.
Other: Here taking admission is very easy. To get admission in this university, you have to give their entrance exam or you can also get admission through your JEE Main score. If your JEE Main score is more than 70 percentile, you are good to go .

Zero college life no fun
Placements: I don't know much about the placement but according to college's brochure Gautam Buddha University provide 70% placement (but personally i don't think so that our university provide 70% on campus placement}. Last year highest placement was 51 LPA but it was off campus in Microsoft , on campus highest placement was 20 LPA in GROWW and average placement was 7 LPA , lowest placement was 4LPA . Top recruiting companies were TCS, WIPRO, GROWW.
Infrastructure: Only green lush campus is attractive otherwise infrastructure is very bad , A.C don't even work properly , tables are broken , ceiling is also broken of the classrooms. Also i would like to mention the bad condition of watercoolers and lifts only 1 watercooler is working in each department and rest of the watercoolers are out of service . Labs are quite good at least all the machines are working properly and internet connection in the labs is also good. Few hostels are in good condition and few are in very bad condition especially washrooms are very dirty. Talking about the hostel facilities they provide you one bed (without mattress) , one table , one chair and one almirah and they will provide you LAN cable for internet also internet connection is good in the hostel. Talking about the mess sometimes the food is good but most of the time food is very pathetic.
Faculty: Few teachers were very helpful and student friendly but many teachers were not good in terms of teaching , behaviour with the students and etc. Most of the teachers are knowledgeable and are good in teaching but the drawback is that the most of the teachers are contract basis teachers. If you are opting B.Tech CSE then you have to study by your own because the teachers will only teach the basic level of the program. Difficulty of the semester exam is moderate if you follow teacher's instruction properly you will be able to achieve good marks. To get promoted you should have at least 4 CGPA.
Other: I choose B.Tech in CSE because coding is my passion and also it was one of the job sectors which was unaffected during the lockdown period and this field is very stable and we can get high paying salary jobs in this sector. I wish college infrastructure get repaired completely and the crowd of the college is very bad that should also be improved and the university should hire well qualified staff because the staff here is very bad. They even don't know how to behave with the students and very uncooperative. Every year only one annual fest takes place in GBU which is also not up to mark and college life is not good here. If you are a student of U.P state then you can get the U.P scholarship also university provide scholarship to the students who scores at least 9 CGPA. For extracurricular activities gym is there in the university, indoor stadium , cricket nets , basketball court, volleyball court etc.

It's better than private colleges in terms of study but not fests and events.
Placements: 100 percent placement with respect to criteria. The package varied from 5 LPA to 51 LPA. Microsoft and other giants showed interest in placements. The internship procedure is quite simple and many forms come now and then for application. A good college for study and if you got skills you can get a good placement.
Infrastructure: The hostel facilities offer LAN connectivity, which is beneficial for students needing reliable internet access. However, laundry services are not available on-site. Accommodation options for boys are limited to single rooms only, which might affect the social aspect of living in a shared environment. Additionally, the mess serves only vegetarian food, which could be a consideration for those who prefer a diverse diet. On a positive note, the sports services provided are excellent, although it's worth nothing that there is no swimming pool available for recreational use. Overall, while there are certain limitations, the facilities contribute positively to the student experience in many ways.
Faculty: The faculty at our institution is quite qualified and generally very helpful, providing support to students throughout their studies. However, some of the higher-level positions lack the same approachability, which can create a disconnect for students seeking guidance. On the academic front, exams, particularly mid-semester assessment, are not overly difficult. This allows students to focus on understanding the material rather than stressing about exam pressure, fostering a more conducive learning environment. Overall, while there are areas for improvement, the supportive faculty and manageable exams contribute positively to the academic experience.
Other: The course is best for people who got different plans if not engineering, as it's a good backup. Events are held in different courses. Comparatively, CSE students do not get such opportunities.

My college experience
Placements: According to college brochure last year 70% of the students got placed and the top recruiting companies were Wipro , TCS , GROWW etc. The highest on campus placement was 20LPA that was offered by GRWW and off campus highest placement was 51LPA in Microsoft . Average package was 5LPA and the lowest was 3LPA.
Infrastructure: Talking about the infrastructure of the college only the lush green campus of the college is attractive otherwise everything in the college needs to be repaired. Classroom's tables are broken , ceiling of the classroom are also damaged and washrooms are very pathetic not even proper lights are there in washrooms and air conditioners also don't work properly. Talking about the library again it also needs to be repaired as it is in very bad condition. But labs are in quite good condition machines works properly. Talking about the hostel few rooms are in very bad condition and the washrooms are very pathetic and very dirty. Sometimes the quality of the food is ok otherwise it is very bad. There are many canteens in the college and food is good there. For sports liking people the college have basketball courts , volleyball courts , badminton courts , tennis courts , cricket nets , cricket stadium , foot ball stadium .
Faculty: Few teachers were very helpful and student friendly but the main drawback is that the most of the faculties are guest faculties. Most of the teachers are very good and teaching and knowledgeable. This course definitely makes the students industry ready. Semester exams are moderately difficult and if you listen to the teacher's instructions carefully you will be able to score good marks in the semester exams.
Other: I choose B.Tech because coding is my passion and we can get high paying jobs in this field and also it was one of the unaffected sector of job during the lockdown period so according to me this field is very stable. Things i wish would be better is firstly the campus infrastructure need to be repaired as soon as possible and secondly few of the members of the management is not good they even don't know how to behave with the students and they are very un-cooperative these members should be replaced with highly qualified staff. Now talking about the fest in this university only once in year fest takes place which is a tech fest. And if you are a student from U.P then you will be eligible for the U.P government scholarship also college provide scholarship to the students who score more then 9 CGPA .

There is no specific cut-off for B.Tech admissions but you have to qualify the entrance exam i.e. Guru Buddha University. There are 100 questions in exam from physics, chemistry and Maths . No negative markings. If your AIR is under 200 in general category then you will get CSE, ECE and IT.
