GAT (PGP) 2024: Exam Dates, Registration, Eligibility, Syllabus, Result

GITAM GAT 2024 is a common entrance test, categorised into different groups, GAT UGTP for BPharma and GAT (PGP) for MPharma programmes. GITAM Institute of Pharmacy established in 2006 is Deemed to be University. The university has three campuses in Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad and Bangalore respectively and the main campus of the university is located in Visakhapatnam.

GITAM GAT PGP 2024 eligibility criteria is the minimum requirement a candidate should have to appear for the exam. Eligibility criteria should be taken into consideration on a serious note because if any discrepancy found, later on, it might result in cancellation of admission or candidature, even if the candidate has qualified for the entrance exam.

GITAM GAT PGP application form is now available on the official website of GITAM. The candidates can fill and submit the application form via both modes, online and offline. Candidates have to register first and then they can proceed further by filling in their personal details such as Name, Father’s name, Aadhaar number, e-mail and phone number. Candidates can refer to the steps below to register and apply for GITAM GAT Pharmacy 2024.

Step 1: Register for GAT-PGP

Firstly, aspirants need to register for GAT-PGP. The application process is both online and offline. The application fee of INR 1,000/-  (INR 600/- for female candidates) can be paid online or via DD.

Step 2: Slot booking for GAT-PGP

Aspirants need to book slot slots for GAT-PGP. Since the exam is conducted for a period of almost two weeks, aspirants need to select their preferred date, time and centre.

Step 3: Download GAT-PGP 2024 Admit card

Aspirants can download GAT-PGP 2024 admit card from the official website which will be made available in the month of April. The admit card will have details like the Candidate's Name, Address, contact details, test centres etc.

Step 4: Appear for GAT-PGP 2024

GAT PGP is conducted in the month of April. Aspirants are advised to reach the exam centre at least an hour before the commencement of the exam.

Step 5: Check GAT-PGP 2024 exam result

GITAM GAT PGP 2024 result will be declared in the month of May 2024. The result will have a candidate's merit position, score-card with total marks, marks obtained in each subject.

Step 6: Appear for Counselling

Aspirants who clear the exam need to appear for GAT-PGP 2024 counselling which will be held in May. 

GITAM GAT PGP 2024 will be conducted for admission to postgraduate programs offered at the Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam campuses of GITAM University. The University will conduct the online admission test at the following 50 test centres, depending upon the number of applications received against each test centre.

GITAM GAT PGP 2024 admit card is mandatory for entry to the examination hall. No candidate will be allowed to appear for the GITAM GAT PGP 2024 exam with the admit card. GITAM GAT PGP 2024 admit card will carry the exam centre address, the time, and the exam date.

Candidates can download the admit card from the official website of GITAM, gitam.edu. GITAM does not post the admit card via post or e-mail. Candidates have to log in using their application number or user ID and password to download the admit card. 

GITAM GAT 2024 Pharmacy result will be announced by the conducting body GITAM after the examination in the fourth week of April 2024. Candidates can check the result on the official website of GITAM whenever it will be declared. The university prepares a rank list based on the scores. Candidates who score more marks will be ranked above.

Candidates can check their rank and scorecard by using their GITAM GAT 2024 Pharmacy admit card number and date of birth. On the basis of the candidate’s rank, each gets a call letter for counselling.  Candidates can download the counselling letter online from the GITAM website using the application number.
