• The mode of application is online for all courses. Candidates interested in any of the GJUST UG or PG courses can apply with an application fee of INR 1,600 (General Category), INR 800 (EWS candidates of Haryana), INR 400 (SC, Deprived SC and BC Category candidates of Haryana).
• The university conducts an entrance exam to shortlist candidates for various UG and PG courses. Apart from this, GJUST accepts national-level entrance exams like JEE Main, CAT, etc. for admission to specific courses.
• After the completion of entrance exam or selection rounds, the university releases a merit list. The shortlisted aspirants are then called for counselling and document verification.

For 2023, the cut off was 237957 for General category candidates in All India quota for BTech in Computer Science and Engineering. The cutoff marks can vary for the female candidates in general category under All India quota. The cutoff varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.
