Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

Q:   Question: How is the course curriculum for B.Com at Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya?

* However, another student mentioned that the curriculum is relevant and prepares students for industry-ready jobs.
* A few students praised the teaching quality, saying that the professors are highly qualified and knowledgeable, making the learning experience effective.
* Despite the mixed reviews, most students agreed that the course covers a wide range of subjects and topics related to commerce.

Note: Since there aren't many direct comments on the structure of the course curriculum, I've tried to summarize the general feedback provided by the students.

Some faculties do not take classes regularly because of their personnel work or for exam duties.
Placements: 90% students get placed in almost every course. Some students get placed from the campus and many more from outside the campus. The packages range from 3-5 LPA. The highest package from my course is 10 LPA. The highest package from outside campus is more than 1 crore. Students who are interested in doing internships can get internship very easily because the college gives such opportunities here.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good and more construction is going on. There is free Wi-Fi connection everywhere in the campus. Hostels are there for boys and girls. There is a library in the campus where you can go for studying. There are more than 1 lakh books in the library. There are more than 100 computers for students. We can use computers free of cost. Some buildings are old while some are new.
Faculty: All the teachers are very helpful and qualified. Almost all the faculty members have done their Ph.Ds from well known IITs or NITs. In semester exams, questions are of GATE level in some subjects, and in some subjects, universities level questions are asked.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in this course and there are many government sectors where I may get a placement. There are lots of events in this campus like techfest, tarang, speech competition, dance competition, etc.

Infrastructure and facilities are good.
Placements: 90–95% of students were placed in my course, and the medium package was INR 5 lacs. The top recruiting companies for my course are DRDO, BSNL Foundation Companies, etc. 70–80% of students got internships from my courses. In the top roles offered in my courses, students can easily get government jobs.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Wi-Fi is also available in our college; one department library is there and one central library is there, and almost all books are available for the students. The taste of mess is good. All departments are going to have their own labs and buildings in progress.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, well qualified, and knowledgeable about our course. Teachers always motivate us to crack exams like Net and Gate. Our course curriculum is relevant. The new clubs are built for different courses. The end-of-semester exams are not that hard, but they are a little hard.

Ideal college for individuals residing in Chhattisgarh and seeking a Central University.
Placements: The university's placement and internship opportunities are severely lacking, with only a small number of students being able to secure placements in various industries. Furthermore, those students who are fortunate enough to be selected through the placement process receive disappointingly low salaries. Over the past few years, the average package offered to civil engineering graduates has been around 3 lakhs per annum.
Infrastructure: The university's infrastructure is comparable to that of other colleges and universities in Chhattisgarh. It boasts a spacious ground, two boys' hostels, three girls' hostels equipped with MHRD Wi-Fi facility, and a large central library. What sets the university apart is its extensive forest coverage.
Faculty: The instructors at Guru Ghasidas University are highly qualified, with a majority of them having obtained their degrees from either IITs or other reputable universities. These educators are known for their cooperative and supportive nature. In terms of examinations, the semester tests are not overly challenging, however, the passing grade is set at 50 percent.
Other: I have selected this course with the intention of developing my career within the field of engineering.

Our college has the best faculty members.
Placements: Placements are very good in our college. Almost 100% of students got placed in our college. Many students got internships. The highest salary package offered is 17 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the hostel is very good. Wi-Fi is available 24X7 in our college. Our college has a separate library, an indoor games room, a television hall, outdoor sports, and a clean dining hall with high quality and quantity food. All hostels are under CCTV surveillance.
Faculty: All teachers are highly qualified. They have high teaching experience and provide extra knowledge. The course curriculum is very good. It makes students ready for the industry. It focuses on the GATE exam and other competitive exams.
Other: It is one of the best colleges for engineering.

Good Infrastructure with Dissatisfied Placements
Placements: Being a student from civil engineering, we all know that placements are very poor for core branches. This year, companies like Thermax, Jhajharia Nirmaan Limited, and Adani visited. At Thermax, 3 students got a 25k per month package, and at Jhajharia, 5 students were placed. Many have opted for GATE prep, government jobs, or M.Tech.
Infrastructure: The hostel for 1st years is quite good, but senior students face issues with facilities. Regardless, labs, the library, and classrooms are quite good, with lots of books in the library that are sufficient for your engineering journey. The canteen is good, but the mess is okay (might have improved, but I can't say for sure). However, affordable PGs are available outside the college, with facilities depending on the budget. The sports and games facilities are good, with a huge playground available.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. Some are helpful, and some faculty members have good teaching quality. The course isn’t very effective if you want to be industry-ready. You will learn many things and experience a different environment in civil engineering, but getting a high-paying job with this course would be somewhat difficult. Speaking about the semester, it won’t be difficult to pass with a good percentage with proper knowledge of the syllabus and smart work, but scoring a 10 CGPA would be challenging.
Other: As a civil engineering student, there are many government jobs and services one can try. You will also enjoy the events and fest crowd, as it's a central university with around 30 schools where you can engage in various extracurricular activities and have a good social life. Scholarships from various states are given to students, and there are rewards for topping the entire university. There should be improvement in placements, as there aren’t many companies that come for placements with high packages.
