Best University in Amritsar.
Placements: There are nearly 89% students placed the highest package is nearly about 14 Lacs given by zscalar and Amazon. And minimum package is 3.75 Lacs by tcs and Wipro. Top recruiting companies are tcs, amdocs and Accenture Many students like 70% got internship in Nagar and kpmg. Roles offered are sde /support.
Infrastructure: Hostel life is very good and always remembered to me. Facilities like Wi-Fi, AC in hostel reading room are very good. Quality of meal is good but not that much but average. But the price of meal is very efficient and affordable Rs.32 per meal. The fee of hostel is nearly about 19550 per sem.
Faculty: Good teaching faculty, all are highly qualified and have done their Masters from iits nits. It has infrastructure, activities and even my parents got their education from this university in their time. The teachers give the practical knowledge to students which will help in the further future to build career. The exams are slightly tough to make students ready for placements and there is 70% pass percentage rate.
Other: I want to enhance my both software and hardware skills so I chose this course. The on thing should be improved is that there must be facilities of air conditioner in classes. There are many fest like Jashan is organised as our annual fest and many events like I am engineer and interdepartmental are conducted after every two months. Almost every book and journal is available in university library, many interdepartmental activities are conducted along with youth fest, electronic and student forum, Chess are clubs run by student!
