Gurugram University is a state government institute established by Haryana Act 17 of 2017 and started functioning from the academic year 2018-19. The university offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in various fields such as engineering, pharmacy, animation, media, law, healthcare, management, science, humanities, business administration, commerce, law, and arts. The university has a campus of 11.5 acres located in Sector 51, Gurugram, Haryana.

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice. 

As per the admission guidelines Gurugram University accepts CUET score for admission to the BSc  course. Further, candidates must complete qualification to be eligible for BSc  course: Class 12 with a minimum 50% aggregate from the Board of School Education, Haryana, or any other board recognised as equivalent (47.5% for  SC/ST/ Divyang candidates of Haryana only). Candidates must secure a minimum 50% in the CUET exam followed by merit of qualifying Exam.

The BSc fee at Gurugram University range from INR 94,400 - INR 15.6 lakh. Gurugram University BTech admission is conducted as per AICTE/HSTES guidelines. Candidates are required to participate in the couselling rounds conducted by HSTES or Haryana State Technical Education Society. Since Gurugram University is a participating university in the HSTES counselling, interested have to register and fill in choices based on their preference, eligibility and qualifying merit.
