The college is really good and the faculty is understanding and supportive towards the students.
Placements: There are some specific eligibility criteria to get admission in this college. College offers placement opportunities to the students. The highest package is of 45 lacs, and the average package is of 7-8 lacs. There are many recruiters for placement, like Airtel, Infosys, Jindal Steel and Power, etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure of the college are good. They provide modern classrooms, well-equipped labs, libraries, and a healthy environment for the students. The college does not offer hostel facilities, but there is a canteen in the college, and the food quality is good. The medical room is also there in the college, but there are some facilities available in the medical room, like a hot water bag. College also provides opportunities to all the students to participate in different sports.
Faculty: All the faculty members are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The college works on a school-based culture maintaining discipline, punctuality, and dedication in the students. The college conducts sessional exams two or three times in a semester and even conducts pre-university exams to check the preparation of the students. The difficulty level of exams depends on the preparation of the students.
Other: I choose this course because of the increasing demand for technology in the changing society. I'm learning various new skills from this course. The college conducts day events like Diwali fest, freshers, farewell parties, etc. The college surroundings are also good.

College Review: Dronacharya College Of Engineering.
Placements: The career services office organizes workshops on resume building, interview preparation, and networking. These are incredibly helpful, especially if you're stepping into the corporate world for the first time. For my program, around 85% of students were placed within six months of graduation. But most companies are new startups that are coming for hiring, and the average salary package is around 4 to 5 Lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: Overall, the infrastructure is good according to the needs of the course. All the labs, classrooms, and the library have Wi-Fi facilities, but the connection is not good. All the labs are equipped with good desktops, and the classrooms are equipped with smart boards.
Faculty: All the teachers are very helpful and supportive to all the students, and they are highly qualified as well. Most of the teachers have done Ph.D. The curriculum of the course is very relevant, and it makes the students industry-ready. If we talk about the semester exams, they are very competitive, but the passing percentage is good, about 90%.
Other: I have chosen this course because, in today's time, all the industries are getting developed, and they need qualified computer engineers for their companies. This course is good enough to provide industry-level computing knowledge. Events and fests are organized by the college on a regular basis.

Placements: There are specific percentages of placed students because there are no placements provided by the university, nothing like top recruiters; even students are struggling to get internships, but there are some students who cracked off-campus internships. In terms of placement, it’s not good to take admission here.
Infrastructure: Facilities provided by the university include transportation, which started in the past 2 months. Transportation passes are given to students for free transport, fee concessions, scholarships, high-tech classes, water, and medical facilities. There is also a canteen on campus, but it is average and not so good.
Faculty: Faculties are very good and friendly; they encourage students and also have a cooperative nature. They are the best because of the long and hard procedure of recruitment. The course curriculum is designed according to students to gain some theoretical knowledge as well as practical knowledge, and semester exams are at a medium level.
Other: I chose core courses like engineering because I have passionate knowledge about computers. I think the course can be better if they focus more on gaining practical knowledge.

    Dissaisfied because of placements.
Placements: 70% of the students were placed in my course. The highest package offered is 19 LPA, the lowest package offered is 3 LPA, and the average package offered is 4 LPA. American Express offered 19 LPA. 80% of students got internships at different companies such as Amex, IIT Delhi, Hero Honda, Maruti Suzuki, DIO, etc.
Infrastructure: The library is one of the best places in our college. Yes, Wi-Fi is available everywhere in the college. Speed can vary depending upon Wi-Fi usage. The hostel was shut down during the Corona period back in 2020. The canteen is just okay. There is one sports period per week and one annual sports event in March.
Faculty: Some of the teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, while some of them are just making us fool. Teaching quality is just okay. The course curriculum is not that relevant according to industry. Semester exams are easy to pass. The passing percentage is 80-90%.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted something to do in computers only. The best thing about this course is you don't have to learn the same thing again and again. There is a variety of options and interests. Practical knowledge should be added more. Yes, there were multiple fests and events that happened during my course. Campus surroundings are not good. They don't provide any scholarships.

    A valuable university in Gurugram.
Placements: Average package that has been offered by university is 6 to 8 Lacs Minimum package that has been offered by university is 5 to 6 Lacs the highest package that has gone in our university is 34 Lacs As this university is growing and we can think packages will also increase.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are so brilliant as they provide library with air-conditioners and good environment. They also provide hostel facilities for girls. Once their main branch which is located in sector 87, Gurgaon, is constructed fully they will be able to provide hostel facilities for boys also.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable with a new generation mindset. It helps them to provide the thinking of how students can do better. College conducts two sessional exams before the main exam. Students have the option to choose the session in which they score higher marks, which will then be considered for their internal marks.

Placements: In my batch, only 25% of students are placed till now. The highest package is 19 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average package is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Airtel Ltd. Around 15% of students get internships, with roles offered in event management at this college.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, knowledgeable, and qualified. The teaching quality is good for 80% of the teachers. The course curriculum is okay and does not fully prepare students for placements. Semester exams can be tough at times and sometimes easy. The pass percentage is 25%.

    A:
    {Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}

Is Gurugram University good for B.E./B.Tech?

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's what we've gathered:

    Pros:

    * Affordable fees compared to private engineering colleges
    * Good faculty members who are cooperative and have proper management
    * Decent infrastructure with modern facilities
    * Opportunities for internships and industrial visits
    * Peaceful campus environment
    * Availability of labs, libraries, and computer centers

    Cons:

    * Limited placement opportunities, especially for fresher batches
    * No on-campus hostels currently, although plans are underway for a new campus with hostel facilities
    * Poor communication between the university and placement cells
    * Teachers' lack of practical experience and transferable knowledge
    * Limited facilities and infrastructure, including poor Wi-Fi connectivity and outdated lab equipment
    * Canteen and library amenities need improvement

Overall, while Gurugram University has its strengths, particularly in terms of affordability and faculty cooperation, it still faces challenges regarding placement rates and infrastructure development. Therefore, prospective students must carefully weigh these factors before making an informed decision about pursuing a B.E./B.Tech programme at this institution.

Two distinct exams, CUET and CAT,  are conducted to provide admission to management and other courses. CAT and CUET are both national-level tests. However,  CAT scores are primarily for MBA students, whereas the CUET exam is for various disciplines. This means that CAT is for you if you want to pursue an MBA.
