The placement drive for 2023 is still on going. The complete placement report is yet to be released. However, the University has released the list of recruiters who participated during IKGPTU placements 2023 such as TCS, HDFC Bank, Decathlon, Infosys, etc.

The University has also released the 2023 NIRF report. As per the report, 55 BTech, 9 MTech, and 2 MBA students were placed during IK Gujral Punjab Technical University placements 2022. The median package for BTech stood at INR 4.50 LPA. For M.Tech and MBA courses, the median package stood at INR 3 LPA and INR 2.70 LPA, respectively.

Fees for B.Tech at  I.K Gujral Punjab Technical University (PTU) is 1.5L - 5.2L per year. It may varies according to their taking facilities. The basic eligibility criteria is PTU B.Techoffering 180 seats.The median salary offered is 4.2 LPA and total tution fee is 5.15 lakh.

The aspirant's performance in Class 12 along with their JEE Main scores and ranks are considered for admission to the BTech courses. The university offers over 35 UG, PG, and Diploma courses. PTU offers courses in the streams of Engineering, Architecture, Science, Design, Law, Mass Communication & Media, etc. Moreover, the courses are offered in full-time, part-time, and distance modes. The BPharm total tuition fee ranges from INR 2.1 lakh to INR 5 lakh. It is inclusive of fees at the affiliated colleges as well. Moreover, the given fee has been calculated as per the data available from unofficial sources and thus can vary. PTU releases the fee structure for the respective admission years on its official website. The total course fee is higher as that will include exam fees, university funds, security deposit, and other fee elements as well. 

IKGPTU, earlier known as Punjab Technical University was established under Act of the State Legislature in 1997. The university affiliates 120+ AICTE and 65 UGC-approved colleges.
