BBA (ODL/Online mode) fresh admissions and Re-registrations are open for the Jan 2025Â admission cycle and the last date to apply is Jan 13, 2025. Candidates can apply for the course through the official university's website.
IGNOU BBA Admission 2023
IGNOU also offers a three-year BBA programme in Retailing specialisation at the undergraduate level. The programme is of 96 credits comprising of all compulsory courses along with an internship and On the Job Training (OJT) in the first, second and third year, respectively. The programme is offered with a modular approach as mentioned below:
- First-year: Diploma in Retailing (DIR)
- Second-year: Advanced Diploma in Retailing (ADIR)
- Third-year— Bachelor of Business Administration (Retailing)
- Three months internship in the first year and OJT subsequently in the second and third year
- A viva voce after submission of the workbook for are only exit points.
Eligibility for Category A, i.e. Direct Entry:
- A pass in Class 12 or its equivalent
- University provides reservation of seats as per Government of India rules
Eligibility for Category B, i.e. Sponsored Admission:
Sponsors are allowed to nominate employees, who have passed Class 12 or its equivalent from their Retail organisation. The sponsor will submit a letter on the company’s letter head issued by the competent authority along with an application form of the candidate nominated with the programme fee through a DD drawn in favour of ‘IGNOU payable at New Delhi’.
Medium of instruction: English
Duration: Three to six years; offered only July cycle of admissions.
IGNOU BBA Application Process 2023
The application process for BBA at IGNOU is completely online. Students willing to apply must visit the official website and apply. A step-by-step process of IGNOU application is as follows:
Step 1:Â Visit the official website of IGNOU. Click on 'Register Online and then on 'Fresh Admission'.
Step 2:Â In the next window, select ' Click here for New Registration'.
Step 3:Â Register online by adding all the required details.Â
Step 4:Â Log in using the credentials created during the registration process, fill out the form, pay the application fee and submit it.Â
