Q:   Can I get job abroad after pursuing IGNOU MBA?

A:

Yes, you can get a job abroad. There are certain organisations that do prefer full-time graduation but getting rejected everywhere should not be the scenario. IGNOU is recognised globally as a university. There may be other reasons for the rejection like in the current scenario, hiring is very specific, so hence, maybe your qualification does not match. The post may require someone with experience. Your skillset may be lacking for the position that you have applied for. Relook at the job posts that you have applied for and then see if there are any other reasons.

Currently, in COVID 19 situation, the job market is very bleak and since you have just done your graduation and if money is not adequate necessary then try doing some additional courses like digital marketing, graphic design, website development. These would be an added advantage and would increase your job prospects too. Well, IGNOU provides distance learning degrees. If you are a graduate from IGNOU you might be able to take admission into some medium level foreign university but it will be a struggle to cope up with the regular programme that too in foreign.

If you wish you go abroad for MBA, it is advisable to take your graduation in regular mode in reputed universities like LPU and then take your chances in many credit transfer programs which can get you into reputed foreign universities and that too with much less expense.

I hope this will help and motivate you to take admission in a good college.
Placements: IGNOU placement has witnessed about 80% of its students placed in companies which is a good number to look at. I have a serious from same course which placed in IBM company with a good package. That means you can also get good placement if you work hard.
Infrastructure: The way they design the courses is easy to understand and easy to work with. They have their own books with detailed information and understanding. I recommended my friend and he is my junior now. And the hostel facilities is also good with every bare minimum thing you need while staying their.
Faculty: Faculty is very friendly. I had a problem with my assignment submission. I just call a faculty member and resolve my problem easily and talk nicely with me. Exam of the courses is well designed so that you can get days to prepare for your Next exam.

It is an affordable college for management studies.
Placements: There are no placement facilities for students as this is a government college. Students only get their degrees and apply to companies on their own. No internships are provided. Certificates and knowledge are provided for correspondence students.
Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi, but the network is not that strong. Classrooms are digital with projectors. Computer labs are available. A library is also available for students. The canteen serves good food. It is neat and clean. There is a medical room for students. Sports facilities are also available.
Faculty: Our college has renowned teachers. They are highly educated and qualified. They are friendly. They always solve our queries. Each lecture is for almost one hour. The best open university with ultimate faculty and support.
Placements: As it is an Open University, it won't provide any placements. But it will be beneficial to the people working in government companies for getting a promotion by getting a degree. Most of the companies will prefer to take the students even though it is an open degree because of the quality provided by the IGNOU.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. The way the classes are conducted and the interest-shown to teach the students for extra hours by the staff is based on student requests, assignments, etc., which will be very good. It is one of the best open University to prefer and is 100% worth of the money. The classrooms and infrastructure are very convenient for the students and the way they organize the classes for all the subjects are very good.
Faculty: The faculty was very good and cooperative. They are always ready to teach and clarify the doubts as much as possible. They are encouraging the students by giving assignments and clarifying the doubts. They also spend extra hours for clearing the student's doubts and ultimately helping and giving support to them. I can say it is 100% worth of the money for its faculty and curriculum. It is one of the best Open University where we can get ultimate knowledge, support and degree.

A great course for working or busy professionals.
Placements: Placements are not there in my case as this was a distance learning and I was already in employment. However, a major percentage of the students pursuing MBA from IGNOU would have met their goals of employment. It being a distance learning course, the concept of campus recruitment is not a criterion in this case. The roles of the candidates who were in the MBA program were mostly those who wanted to make it into a managerial role within their organization or in another organization of similar nature of the job that they were in. This course is primarily used as a career advancement one by most of the candidates.
Infrastructure: Contact classes are conducted in different colleges that you select. Infrastructure may, therefore, be based on the institution you select. The contact classes are usually held during the weekends. Apart from this, you might go to the regional center of IGNOU for any other interaction (e.g., loss of ID card, etc.).
Faculty: The faculty members are good. They are quite qualified and knowledgeable. Typically, one would need to interact with the faculty during the contact classes to clear ones' doubts. The assignments are also corrected by the faculty and relevant grades are awarded. Apart from this, it could be during the project, if you have worked with a faculty that could guide you with your project in your chosen discipline.

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU)- University for everyone.
Placements: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) doesn't provide placements through campus recruitment because it's an open university. But the name and degree of IGNOU has much worth. Students can get a job through open campus placements and with the help of other employment services organisations. IGNOU earned good reputation through open placements of their students in various MNC's and in education sector.
Infrastructure: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has good infrastructural facilities at it's headquartered at New Delhi campus. The campus is equipped with modern facilities like Wi-Fi, big library with a huge collection of books of national and international writers, canteen, lodging, computer lab etc. But IGNOU has a poor infrastructure at their study centres in different cities. The study centres are generally running at a rented or leasing space.
Faculty: IGNOU has experienced faculties who take lectures as a counselor in each term of six months. The faculty members are mainly experienced and so many of them have industrial experience background also. The course curriculum of IGNOU is good & well designed but has a big problem that it does not get updated on a regular interval. The course material books of IGNOU are usually outdated and the content is also not up to date.
