Placements: ETO - Electro Technical Officer (Pre-sea training) has a duration of four months. On completion of this course, trainees can join the team at sea. Sea training lasts 6-8 months as Assistant Electro-Technical Officer (above 30K INR). In every batch, more than 70 percent of students are placed.

Placements: In my course, there are a total of 35 cadets, and 24 were placed, so 80% of our people secured placements. Placements: I am in the ETO 32 batch at HIMT, and we are 35 members. Around 80% of cadets get placement with good packages of around 6 LPA. In our batch, 8 members got sponsorship from Bernault Schulte Management, and a few got placements in Maersk in the first month of the course. Some secured jobs in MSc.

Placements: Placements are good at this college, and they put a lot of effort into getting every cadet placed during their courses. However, I would recommend that everyone get a sponsorship before coming to this college. Do your research before coming here, and if it's a good fit for you, then it's one of the best places you'll ever find.

Placements: I have been placed at BSM Shipping Company. So far, more than 80 percent of the students have been placed, and that's just after two and a half months. The experienced faculty members provided great support and guidance in preparing for the placement drives.

Placements: I am thankful to the college for giving me such a wonderful opportunity. The placement cell at HIMT is highly active and dedicated to ensuring that students secure promising opportunities.

Placements: In our batch, 70% of the students have been placed as of now. Our principal is working hard to get placements for all of us. He ensures that every student is selected for a company. Placements: Almost all of the students who did well academically got placed with a very good fresher package. Some of our batchmates got placed in ITF companies and RPSL companies. I was one of those who got placed at the college as an ETO for an M.Sc. shipping company, and I am very happy with the package as well.

Top recruiting companies like BSM, MASERK, MSM, and GOODWOOD seek graduates from ETO's. In my course, out of 35 students in the batch, 9 secured placement before joining the course. The average salary package ranges from $500 to $800.

Placements: In our batch of GME 25, almost 85 percent of students are placed. The remaining members are also going to give interviews. Many top companies are recruiting us; some of the companies are Synergy Shipping Company, IMEC, and Feet Management.

Placements: Around 31 students are placed out of batch of 40 and remaining 9 cadets are shortlisted for interview and will be attending interviews in a couple of days. Recruiting companies include Synergy maritime, feet management, Willem, Western Shipping, VR maritime, Asp ships, D Amico, M.Sc., etc.

Placements: I have done my GME from Hindustan Institute of Maritime Training in the batch of 2024. In my college, around 80% of the students are placed with different companies like Synergy, VR, Feet Management, M.Sc. and many others. Some Cadets are also sponsored by IMEC which is one of the biggest organisations in the industry. Apart from sponsorship, the college has many post sea courses.

Goodwood, and Deamigo are the top companies coming to our college. Mostly half of the students got internships from our college. After completing TME, this is the role we will be working in.
