Placements: Around 50% of students placed in 2024 have placements that, if I talk about them, are quite poor, like the minimum of 3 LPA and the highest of 4.5 LPA. Companies basically come from the logistics sector only because our course is in logistics retail, e-commerce and supply chain.
Placements: No placement, no infrastructure and no faculty to teach us. At the time of admission, they will say that they have 100% placement but you have to score 75% atleast for it. We have done everything right but no response from the college, they even had conducted a fake exam for placement and after that no response.
Placements: To get admission in this course you should have a total of 60% in PCM. The top companies are - Mearsk, Feet, Synergy, Dock n Dale, Stenar Bulk and many more. In previous year, around 90-95% got placed in different speak companies whose payee is a lot.
Placements: Placements were conducted for the pass out students this year, company that came was dockendale. Hoping the placements improve in the upcoming years. Placement is not the best at the moment but if you're a top student then placement will be assured.
Placements: Around 50% of students got placed. Many companies give importance to girl cadets, and they got placed in the starting of their final year. Many of them cleared Synergy exams. Our college cadets have a good preference at Synergy. Companies like TORM, MSI, MMSI, and FLEET are the recruiters.
Placements: Every year, the placements are increasing. The placement cell is trying hard to place students. Our current pass-out batch has 90% placements. Top recruiting companies are Fleet Management, Home Groups, Seateam etc. Some seniors have even started sailing.
Placements: Only 4 major companies visit our college for placements, and each of them hires not more than 3 students. Even major companies have stopped visiting our college now, or since the market getting many officers and don't have enough jobs. So, the interview process made tougher. But our college wants more students to take admission in it because it is benefitting from them. After you pay fees, it doesn't care whether you get placed or not.
Placements: About 50%-60% of the students from our course got placed. Since it is a professional course, which includes on-board sea training, there are no such salary packages. However, as a cadet, you will get the average salary package ranging from 5 LPA-6 LPA. TORM Shipping, Fleet Management, MOL, Synergy, etc., are the top recruiting companies for our course. Internships are not offered in this course. Cadets are trained to be strong, matured, disciplined and responsible in this course. They are taught...
Placements: About only one-fourth of the students got placed in 3 different companies which visited the campus recently. All the 3 companies were average and offered almost the same initial salary packages. Due to more intake and less approaching of companies, the placement condition here is uncertain and diminishing over time.
Placements: Our institute offers 100% placements for our course as only pre sponsored students get admission in this course. Top recruiting companies for our course include giants like Maersk Line, MSC, Fleet Management, Scorpio, Dockendale and Synergy. The average salary package offered is around 450 USD for a cadetship of 18 months. The salary offered in merchant navy mainly depends on the type of vessel which you sail and also on the company.
Placements: There were placements before but nowadays the market is not good. However, now there is a betterment in this college so it depends on students' performance. In my time only 2 companies visited but now 5 companies visited and hired a good number of cadets.
Placements: The college started to offer B.Tech (ME) course in 2013. Till now, only two batches have been passed out. The first batch was passed out in 2017, and all the 36 students in that batch were placed. Companies like Dockendale, Selandia, Essar, fleet management, Home and Andromeda, etc., visit the college for placements. Similarly, the 2nd batch was passed out in 2018, and all the students of this batch were placed.
Placements: Our pastout seniors got 100% placement. Placements were good enough. The highest salary offered was 75000 average was 45000 ani the lowest was around 25000. Everyone got internship from the campus. There was no stipend offered for students. There is no placement cell.
Placements: I didn't get any placement as companies approach of the university is quite weak. Out of 70 boys in our batch, only 11 got selected via college placements, and rest are wandering. Without placements, there is no need for joining this college. They just look for any open exams, and they put students name on their list. The college reputation is quite below average in the shipping era. When we say we are from IMU, Chennai they scold us and force us to leave the office.
Placements: For our seniors, they made the false report regarding the placements, but nowadays, the placement team is doing well and trying their best to increase the number of placements. In the years 2017 and 2018, many companies came to the college for campus placements.
Placements: Placements are quite good and if you work hard after joining. The management is not worried for your placements. Last year, 14 cadets got placed and 14 are left. S.C.I. will take at least 10 cadets (may be), so 4 will be left unplaced. ESSAR, S.C.I., M.S.C., etc. are the companies which visited this institute for placements.
I am studying MBA in Logistics and Shipping from CMC. Till now the course is not satisfactory. I would rather say that other colleges offering this course are far better than mine. The facilities for training are not effective and they just concentrate on theoretical learning rather than the practical knowledge we'll need when we step outside the college. Faculty Members are better but still no effort is taken from the management side to enhance the student’s satisfaction level.
Placements: Placements are good. Frequently visited by companies. Good companies come to take students. Approximately 100 percent placement. Frequent VIP visits are there at the college. Good companies. Famous companies. Big and famous companies. Good placement.
Placements: 20% of placements are provided in our college. The college placements are the worst compared to other colleges, but the placement companies do not come back to the college. The college students get placed outside the college. The placement team is not available on campus.
