Placements: Every year nearly 250 students join the course B.Tech. Around 70-85% of students are placed. Placements are good when compared to other colleges. Placements: Since our college does not offer multiple branches it was a typical marine college so the roles offered were only marine engineers, because the college believes that what students teach the student must excel in it. In our course, around 60% of students were placed. It was nearly the same pay in this sector. NYK was the top recruiting company, and there were no internships. The role offered was a marine engineer.

Placements: About 75% of the students got on-campus offers, while about 15% of the students got off-campus placements during the course only. Salaries offered range from $370 per month to $ 11,00 per month for the post of trainee marine engineers. Some of the top recruiters here were NYK Shipmanagement, Fleet Management, MSC, Anglo-Eastern, Scorpio Maritime, etc.

Placements: The placements in the marine engineering course are the best compared to any other Merchant Navy College in India. More than 90% of students of B.Tech ME get placed in shipping companies, including Maersk, Anglo Eastern etc. The campus is the best to pursue ME. But it is a bit difficult to get admission as it is the most preferred during IMUCET counseling. You should have a rank under 1000.

Placements: There are good placements here. A lot of placement opportunities are provided to cadets. Most of the cadets get placed in their 3rd and 4th years. Companies which visit here for recruitment are Anglo-Eastern, Scorpio, Synergy, Chevron, Pacific Basin, Fleet Management and many more.

However, in IMU KC, the placement rate is higher than other maritime campuses. So, you don't need to worry much about the placements, and you should just study. Every student gets placed.

Placements: Placements are around 80% but there are few circumstances if you don't have any backlog then be sure that you will get placed for sure. M.Sc. nyk, fm are the few of top recruiters. Average salary is around 700-800 us dollars. It may vary company to company and cadets to cadets.

Placements: The salary of marine engineers is very high and can be up to 12 Lacs per month for chief engineer. Here the placement starts from 3rd year and the world prestigious companies come in our college such NYK, M.Sc. FLEET MANAGEMENT, COSCO, So many other and the starting salary is 40 k to 70 k per month and synergy is the most recruitment company. 80 to 85 % students got placed from our college and other cadets get placement from Mumbai.

Placements: 1- almost all the student are placed from this college who are all clear in their exam and going on board ship in 7 semester 2-in starting the training marine engineer has 800 to 1000 dollers for 6 month and after that when he become a fourth engineer he GOT 2400 doller in minimum package 3-the company are-. Placements: Pretty good anyone who is not having a backlog can get a good job from campus only. About 70% placement is here. Nyk, fleet management, and other reputed companies come here. Synergy and Science is mass recruiter. Just get clear in all subject and get a good job.

Placements: Placement is best among all marine engineering college. If you are clear in all subjects then you will be placed in a good company. All the best shipping companies come here like NYK, M.Sc. fleet management, Chevron, anglo eastern, synergy, Science etc. Even after this administration is trying to pull more companies.

Placements: Our college stands in the list of top 5 colleges among all IITs in terms of placements. In the previous year, the highest package offered for B.Tech students was about 1.50 crore per annum. The average package offered to electrical students is good, around 20 LPA. The average package offered is 20 LPA by an MNC. This year, the highest package offered to my course was 1.8 crore per annum for 3 students. Overall, the placements in our college were very good.

Placements: Around 150 students out of 200 who don't have any backlogs got placed until 7th semester from the college. Rest of the students are looking for placements in the 8th semester. You should clear all semesters without having backlogs to get placed from the campus. Around 50 students from our batch have backlogs.

Placements: Earlier, this college was named DMET. From the reference of DMET, many companies visited the campus for placements. So till 2008, placements in IMU Kolkata were outstanding, and even 100% placements were guaranteed. But nowadays, placements are not good, and only 75% of the students are placed. From our batch, around 140 out of 239 students were placed through campus placements, and the rest got placed through off-campus placement drives.
