The students are forced to appear for interviews according to their rank, rather than whatever company they wish to appear for. Placements: The placements are top-notch, but the pandemic has hit it hard. It fell from 80% to 50%. It will recover as the physical training recollect their days. The courses are online due to cadets can complete them. The package for a marine engineer is usually the same and increases with increasing ranks.

Fleet management is the top recruiting company which has selected 33 cadets. Students study about engine part of the ship, that is only machinery and its maintenance.

Placements: I am in last semester and still, 60% of our batch is not placed yet. In covid times there are no placements, but in recent 4 months, only one company hire 5 students, and no other companies have visited for placements. The private colleges are better in this case.
