Review of Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru.

Placements: Campus placement conditions have improved in IISc after the inception of the campus placement cell. The average package is around 25 LPA. Since most of the students go for higher studies from IISc, you will see the placement percentage to be low. Personally, I am also going for higher studies.

Life at IISc - Pros and Cons.

Placements: Most of the students after completing four years continue to stay here to get a Master's degree after one more year and pursue Ph.D. from world-renowned institutions. Very few people (<7/100) per batch will sit for campus placements, and most of them will be selected with a good annual package of 30,000 on average. Some students, mostly Physics majors, can give government exams like I.C.R.B., GATE to join ISRO and BARC as scientists.

A good college review and more facilities.

Placements: The percentage of students that were placed in this course was almost the best of all. The placements, where the best highest package offered, i.e., 72% of students, got jobs, and the lowest package offered is 4.4 LPA. The recruiting companies may like if you have more opportunities. Sixty-nine percent of students got internships.

Teachers, support and infrastructure are nice.

Placements: The placement rate has always been above 80%. The college helps with the internships but the focus is more on placement. The highest package offered was for 15 Lacs per annum and the average was around 8 Lacs per annum. Recruiters were companies like aerospace, automotive, etc.

During placement drives, around 110 esteemed companies are invited to the campus, offering lucrative opportunities. It is a pretty good college and I would recommend it to everyone.

Placements: Not many students got placed from college. As we know that only a few students get admission here. I paid Rs. 15,000 as it's government college. Over 90% of students got internships from college. Mostly management companies like FDC, Alchemy, IPCA, etc., visit the campus for recruitment.

The best place for students to pursue research studies.

Placements: The placements were not the primary concern for many students in the college. Most of the students were interested in higher studies, but the trend is slightly changing. Many students are interested in working. Our department has bad placements. A few companies offered low salaries, so the students who got selected rejected the offers. The faculty members provide very little help, and the rest has to be done by the students.

Overall, if you're a topper or something, you can join; it's good for you.

Placements: There are around 2,000 students there, and out of them, only 60% got a nice job. The highest package is 50 LPA, but you have to do your own research before taking admission there. I strongly recommend you check other information as well before making a decision.
