Amazing placements and fantastic curriculum.
Placements: The percentage of students placed is above 75% this year. The highest is 3.67 CPA and the lowest is 4LPA. The recruiting companies are Google, Amazon and Flipkart. Almost every student on campus gets an internship and companies like Air India, Vistara are hiring.
Infrastructure: The labs in IIT Bombay are equipped with good machines and the lab engineers are trained. The hostel is very good and medical facilities are also there. There are good sports professionals and trainers.
Faculty: There are qualified professors on the campus and they help in getting rid of any doubts. Exams at the IIT Bombay are pretty tough and more complicated.
Other: I had chosen aerospace engineering in IIT Bombay as I am more passionate about aircraft and missiles. Events, Fest, Campus Crowd, Connectivity, and Campus Surroundings, are very good.

Short overview of every detail of IIT Bombay.
Placements: Placements are very impressive. About 95% of students get jobs, but the level of satisfaction is different for everyone. Top recruiting firms are Microsoft, Google, Bain & Company, etc. Most of the students pursue consulting roles. In mechanical engineering, the scope for higher studies is very good, and getting jobs in the automobile industry is easier.
Infrastructure: The department has excellent facilities, including AC rooms, full Wi-Fi connectivity, and excellent, experienced faculty. Some hostels are very good, but some have serious issues. We get free LAN and Wi-Fi service, good hygienic food, excellent medical facilities, and a sports ground at every hostel.
Faculty: The faculty is very helpful; some have unique course curriculum, open-book exams, and many more such things. The new course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Semesters are difficult here, depending on your intelligence level and the hard work you put into your studies.

Take the course, only if you like it.
Placements: 80% of students were placed in this course. The highest might be 24 lpa, and the lowest around 12–13 lpa. The top recruiting company for this course is HUL. Around 50% get internships in random companies and just 1 or 2 in HUL. The top roles are R&D, research fellowships, etc.
Infrastructure: There are classrooms, Wi-Fi, labs, and canteens. The department building seems quite old and the infrastructure is a bit outdated; otherwise, it is good. The boys hostels are not good with poor infrastructure and limited space but the newer ones are better. Food quality degrades as the days pass.
Faculty: Personally, I don't like chemical core, but some professors are really helpful. The course curriculum is okay and the department council is trying a lot to make the students industry-ready. Exams are tough, at least for me. The grading is absolutely absurd.
Other: I wanted IITB so I went with chemicals. I don't like anything about this course. I wish the pros stopped the harsh grading. I would have been happier if I was in a different course, maybe. Events and festivals are really fun. Crowds and seniors are really helpful in every aspect.

IIT Bombay- The life-saving.
Placements: Almost 90% of students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 80 LPA. The average salary package offered is 25 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 10 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Google, Microsoft, and MAANG companies. Around 90% of students got internships from our institute. Top roles offered are software developer, quant developer, quant researcher, etc.
Infrastructure: We have a hood hostel. Wi-Fi connectivity is very good. We will not have any problem with the internet anywhere in the institute. Sometimes, there may be outages which is common. Good quality services are provided. There is nothing to complain about. Medical facilities are very good.
Faculty: Very experienced and good teaching faculty members are available. Students become teaching assistants to help other students in the course. The course curriculum is highly relevant and justified. Practical experiences are provided in terms of labs. Industrial experiences are given.

Life of a student at IIT Bombay.
Placements: Unlike what is believed, not all students secure placements/internships, and the percentage is dependent on department and field of choice too. In software-related departments like CS and Electrical, 80%+ students are placed. Other departments have 60%+. The highest CTC packages are 3 crore+ for international and up to a crore for national.
Infrastructure: Department and lab facilities are top-notch. Hostels are not too good, but you get a vibe of it soon. Mess food, on the other hand, is questionable. The departments and libraries have proper institute Wi-Fi connections. The lecture halls are massive and super amazing.
Faculty: The Mechanical Department has super nice professors. They are also research-oriented and very knowledgeable. They are not very strict with the grading policies and focus more on learning and practical understanding. The semester exams are okay, except for the end-sems, which are very tough (like JEE adv). Also, there is no passing percent situation; we have RG (relative grading) in the entire batch.

Best college in India where we get huge amounts of Knowledge.
Placements: Placements are the best; we all want to be looked at. Placements here are great and have been experiencing largely unaffected growth in package. The highest package offered in the institute is 1.5 crore+, and the average goes up to INR 21 LPA, which is gate number. As far as chemical engineering is concerned, the average package goes around INR 18 to 19 LPA.
Infrastructure: Hostels here great to live in. The hostel experience is really memorable for any student. All hostels have 24?7 Wi-Fi access and connectivity. Hostel mess food is also far then that of the other college. Also, the hostels are quite safe and secure from the perspective of a girl students.
Faculty: The Faculty here is great. All the professors are highly educated and skilled. They are very punctual when it comes to lectures or assignment submissions. The courses here a bit tough, but they are worth studying. Though one may feel that Curriculum is outdated. Passing percentage in IIT Bombay is more.
