    Q:   What is the selection criteria for EMBA offered at IIT Bombay?

    A: 

    The selection criteria for the EMBA course offered at IIT Bombay are based on these eligibility parameters: 

    • Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university in India or any other country.
    • They should have a minimum of seven (7) years’ work experience.
    • Additionally, five (5) years of managerial experience or equivalent.
    • Proficiency in spoken and written English.
    • Functional computer skills

    Conclusively, candidates who meet the eligibility criteria will be invited for an interview with the admission committee, which will include a panel of experts from IIT Bombay & WUStL. The schedule of dates and times for such interviews will be communicated

    by the EMBA Program Office by email depending on the availability of the panel.

    The total tuition fee for MBA ranges between INR 2.7 Lacs and INR 20 lakh. Candidates need to pay course fee after the completion of the selection rounds to confirm their seat. Further, to submit the MBA application form successfully, candidates need to pay an application fee. Aspirants can pay the application fee via any of the online payment modes.

    Q:   What is the eligibility to do MBA from IIT Bombay?

    A: 

    After completing graduation, candidates can apply for IIT Bombay MBA course. Check below the detailed eligibility for MBA programme:

    • Candidates are required to pass a bachelor’s degree or a master’s degree with a minimum of 60% aggregate (55% aggregate in case of SC/ ST/ PwD candidates) or a minimum CPI of 6.5 (6 in case of candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ PWD category) out of 10 or applicants appearing for the final year of degree or completed the degree and awaiting result can also apply or,
    • Aspirants appearing for final year of the degree and those who have completed the degree requirements and awaiting results can also apply. The applicant should have secured an aggregate of 60% aggregate (55% aggregate in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category) or equivalent till the latest exam that has been completed and whose scores are available or,
    • CA, CS, CFA, ICWA or FRM, with a first-class bachelor’s degree in any discipline having secured 60% aggregate (55% aggregate in case of candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ PWD category) in aggregate (including all years /semesters) or a minimum CPI of 6.5 (6 in case of candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ PWD category) out of 10 can also apply for MBA programme.
