JEE Main 2025 Session 1 registration has closed for IIT Delhi admission to BTech, BArch, and BPlan courses. The JEE Main 2025 Session 1 exam is scheduled to be held from Jan 22 to Jan 31, 2025.
The JEE Advanced 2025 exam date has been announced for the BTech course. As per the official website, the JEE Advanced 2025 exam will be conducted on May 18, 2025. Further, the application form will be released in Apr 2025.

IIT Delhi admission process 2025 is entrance-based for all the courses. The application forms are available on the official website of the institute.

The Indian Institute of Technology offers a list of courses at the undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD levels. The flagship programme of IIT Delhi is BTech which is offered in 14 different specialisations. Admission to BTech is granted on the basis of JEE Advanced followed by JoSAA counselling. IIT Delhi Admission 2025: Eligibility & Selection Criteria

IIT Delhi admission process is entrance-based, except for the PG Diploma course. For BTech admission, IIT Delhi accepts JEE Main and JEE Advanced entrance exam scores, followed by the counselling round. For IIT Delhi MBA admission, candidates must have a valid CAT score. Similarly, admission to IIT Delhi MTech and MSc courses is GATE and IIT JAM based, followed by COAP and CCMN counselling, respectively.

Registration is open for MSc admission. IIT JAM exam will be held on Feb 2, 2025.

IIT Delhi Seats 2025

IIT Delhi flagship programmes have a larger number of seats which is more than 1200, while other courses have a limited intake. The seat allotment at IITs is carried out as per the JoSAA seat matrix. Steps for IIT Delhi Admission Process 2025

Candidates applying for IIT Delhi courses must ensure that they are meeting the above-mentioned eligibility criteria. The institute has a multi-step admission process that students must follow to get into the institute. The admission procedure involves registration, entrance exam, shortlisting, release of merit list, counselling, and admission confirmation. Step 1: IIT Delhi Application Process 2025

Candidates seeking admission at IIT Delhi are required to complete the application form for the course-specific entrance exam. For example, for BTech, candidates are required to apply for JEE Main, followed by JEE Advanced application.

Similarly, for IIT Delhi PG admissions, the IIT JAM application form is required to be completed for the MSc course and likewise other accepted exam applications. No, the tuition fee for the IIT Delhi BTech is around INR 8 Lacs. At the UG level, IIT Delhi offers four to five-year BTech courses to students. The IIT Delhi accepts the JEE Main and JEE Advanced entrance exam scores for admission to various courses. IITD has ranked 2 under 'Engineering' and 4 under 'Overall' and 'Management' categories by the NIRF 2022. Q: What if I can't get into IIT for BTech?

Not getting into IIT Delhi or any other top IIT should not be considered an end to a student’s career. While IIT Delhi gave an average package of INR 17.6 LPA to its 2023 placements batch, can IIT Delhi guarantee the same for each and every student of the batch? The answer is no. What truly matters is a student’s dream to pursue a career in Engineering and as long as they are ready to work on their learning and are focused towards achieving their goal, they must not feel defeated in case of not getting into IIT Delhi.

IIT Delhi BTech Admission 2025

IIT Delhi offers a full-time BTech programme with a duration of four years. Eligible students must have good scores in the JEE Advanced exam for BTech at IIT Delhi. Shortlisted candidates are allotted seats through JoSAA counselling.

Really good college and nice crowd. Only the top students of the country get admission here.

Placements: Almost 90% of the students were placed. The highest package was above 1 crore, and the lowest was around 10 lacs. Companies that came for placements were Google, Microsoft, Nvidia, and many more core and non-core companies. The percentage of students getting internships was also high, about 80%. The roles offered were in tech, the core chemical field, consulting, analyst positions, etc.

Infrastructure: IITs have top-notch facilities and infrastructure. Chemical labs are equipped with the latest technologies, apparatuses, and equipment. The library is open for about 20 hours and is also equipped with Wi-Fi. The quality of food in the mess and canteen is excellent. The sports facilities lack a bit; the fields are very crowded.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and have years of experience in their fields. They are very knowledgeable. The teaching quality is not so good, as teachers can't explain everything. The course curriculum is very relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. The semester exams are very difficult, and the pass percentage is around 98%.

Review of IIT Delhi, B.Tech in Chemical Engineering.

Placements: Our batch has not experienced the placement session, but the placement percentage is around 90%. As per observation, placement offers are less than in previous years, but there has been an increase in internship offers, especially in our batch. There is a significant increase in the number of internships offered.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of hostel is very average. Building is very old and not very clean. There is no availability of handwash in washrooms. Hostel and mess fees are low. The mess food is also average but edible. Course infrastructure is quite good.

Faculty: Course curriculum is quite relevant, and gives you space and time to invest in some other passion of an individual. Faculty members of Chemical Engineering department are very diverse, helpful, and lenient whereas on the other hand, some are very rude and strict. Most of them are very good at what they teach.

Other: This place is really popular. I would recommend IIT Bombay if someone is a bit soft-spoken. But if they are confident, they are most welcome. It's a great experience being here. Campus life has its good and bad times. Overall, it's good when someone is clear-minded.

A modern update would greatly improve the overall living experience. The IITD hospital also has its limitations, with a shortage of well-qualified doctors and outdated facilities. This can make it challenging for students to receive quality medical care on campus. Placements: About 70% of students got placed. The highest salary package offered is around 2 CPA. The average salary package offered is around 25 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Goldman Sachs, Texas Instruments, and Microsoft. About half of the students received internship offers. Top roles are offered in IT, consulting, and core engineering fields.

Infrastructure: We have proper Wi-Fi. There are clean and well-equipped labs. Some labs have non-functional equipment. Classrooms are mostly clean. The food is mostly alright, not good to be honest. There is a hospital on campus. Doctors are not good. Sports facilities are good.

Faculty: Teachers are very qualified. They are good researchers. All courses are very well-structured, especially the computer science course. It prepares students well for the industry. Semester exams are set perfectly, and grading makes it very hard to fail exams. Only 5% of students fail exams.

All about IIT Delhi electrical branch.

Placements: As you know, IIT is known for their packages in reputed companies, as I am in the electrical branch, so the lowest package is around 15 lakhs and the highest goes up to 1 crore and above; the average is around 22 lakhs. Most of the students get internships from my course.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available to our department will surely be the best, as it is one of the most reputed colleges all across India. The hostel has all the facilities, including a mess and a gym. Medical facilities are also provided; there is a hospital on the IIT Delhi campus.

Faculty: Obviously, the teachers are highly qualified here; most of them have done their Ph.D. from the world's best universities, although they fail to teach concepts to students. The semester exams are quite medium type and the passing marks are the same as most of the colleges, which is 30 percent.

Other: As this course work as a bridge between core type jobs and coding related jobs so this is the reason why I take this course and obviously the rank factor. Many events take place at IIT Delhi one of them is rendezvous. As the campus is in main Delhi so all places can be traveled by metro Scholarship is given to people who qualify the criteria.
