IITD is one of the great experiences for my educational journey.
Placements: In our last batch, around 14 students were placed. The highest salary package was 14 LPA, and the lowest salary package was 6 LPA. EdTech company was highly interested in our batch. Internships offered were in research field. Course will prepare students more for tech side as compared to teaching side.
Infrastructure: Our department has its own library, which is well-stocked for students. Hostel provides a great environment and good quality. They provide students best quality food with varieties. Medical facilities are free. Our department conducts sports day two times a year.
Faculty: Teachers have great knowledge and they are supportive. All professors have foreign education. Our course provides opportunities for extracurricular aspects. Exams are not that hectic. Pass percentage is 30%.
Other: I chose this course to gain knowledge in mathematics. Faculty have a great alumni network. The course focuses more on research than teaching. This needs to change. Fests conducted here are awesome. It is one of the best in South Asia. They even had Bill Gates visited for the inauguration last time. Scholarships are provided to students from low economical background. We have a great network here for exploring.

Dreams come true here in IIT Delhi.
Placements: The lowest package is around 8 LPA, and the highest package for the MSc Chemistry course is around 24 LPA. The average package is around 14 LPA. Mainly Ed Tech companies are the top recruiters here, including Physics Wallah, Allen, Fiitjee, etc. Both industrial and EdTech companies come, and on average, 65% got selected for internships. Both foreign and domestic internships are available for the students.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. Since the campus includes much more than academic blocks. There are big 3 playgrounds for sports activities. Lecture halls are pretty big. Wi-Fi is available all over campus, so no issues with that. Labs contain all important equipment which is missing in other colleges such as DU's. Central Library contains all important stuff that one can require. Hostel rooms are decent, but yeah, mess food is not that good, like it's above average. IIT Delhi Hospital is there for any medical emergency, with pharmacy shops and an ambulance.
Faculty: Faculty is very much interactive and helpful. They promote us to engage with the subject so as to get deep knowledge of it. All faculty members are highly qualified, and everyone has a foreign PhD degree. Their teaching quality is very good, to be honest. The course curriculum is somewhat hectic in IITs because of the high-quality faculty set up the semester exams. There are a total of 4 exams in one semester, which includes 2 surprise quizzes and one minor exam and one major exam. Almost everyone passes the exams; there is no such difficulty in passing.
Other: I am pursuing my Master's Degree in Chemistry because of my interest in chemicals and their synthesis and reactions. Although I chose this college because of its research work , which is phenomenal under such high-quality faculty. Some relaxation is needed in the course curriculum, but yes, it is the standard of IIT which makes it an IIT. Fests and events are conducted all over the year. With high number of crowd participation. Campus life is best in IITs. We make connections easily because many clubs and societies are there. The campus is situated in South Delhi, which has good connectivity. Extracurricular activities are promoted along with academics. Which makes it an all-round college or, we can say, a college of dreams.

Overall great but still it lags in somewhere.
Placements: I am uncertain about the exact percentage, but the number of placements has significantly decreased due to the recession. Additionally, for Masters courses, only a handful of companies participate in on-campus placements, resulting in a lower number of placements. Unfortunately, this year there are no companies offering core placements for Physics students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is exceptional; however, certain hostels lack in certain aspects. IIT Delhi boasts state-of-the-art laboratories and an incredible team of staff members who are extremely supportive. In addition to a football ground, hockey ground, and cricket facilities, there are numerous other sports amenities available. The overall structure of the institute is vast and immense.
Faculty: The faculty members are truly exceptional, and the curriculum design is commendable as well. They excel as top-notch researchers in their respective fields, and although the curriculum may be somewhat arduous and lengthy, we can manage it with sincere discipline and diligent effort.
Other: I like Physics so I chose it.

Satisfied with the good infrastructure and best placement.
Placements: In our course, the percentage of placement is around 20% from the campus and 90% offline because it's not allowed the coaching industry to come to campus. This is why placement is very low in M.Sc. but we can go for software jobs if you want to, the only thing need is your knowledge.
Infrastructure: Best facilities everything is available within the campus. Everything is good but you will learn something better every day in your college. There is the best faculty and best equipment for labs and research and if you want to go to optical fields choose it.
Faculty: The best faculty in India. Teachers are very friendly and extremely knowledgeable but some professors don't know how to teach because they are involved in deep research. One of our courses advanced quantum mechanics or computational quantum mechanics help me a lot for a better understanding of quantum computing.
Other: I chose M.Sc.Physics' best part is the research in M.Sc. We have to do a lot of experiments but there lag of project work in it. When I try to choose a different project professor does not allow me to do some other experiments. Event Rendezvous is one of the best events in India. Connectivity is extremely good and scholarship is mcm which is 1000rs per month.

Our college is a top class college.
Placements: Around 10% of students were placed in our senior batch the highest package was 12 LPA, the lowest package was 8 LPA, and the average package was 10 LPA. Most students were placed in data scientists or software engineer posts. The core placement was very low. Most students were placed through OCS in the 2nd shift in Jan -Feb.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the hostel is good. All facilities are available and the quality of food is good. They serve a lot of varieties in food, 4 times a day food is provided. The infrastructure of the mess is also good, it is decorated and well furnished. The infrastructure of the course is also good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, they are always ready to solve your doubts. They are well qualified and most experienced and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is very relevant for research purposes, it does not make students ready for industry. Semester exams are not so difficult but they are well leveled.

It is a great place but lockdown makes it less fun.
Placements: In M.Sc physics, 4 students get placed this year. All of them are placed in the IT sector. They get software jobs and nothing related to physics. There is no connection with M.Sc education at IIT. They knew very basic to moderate knowledge of python and coding. The average salary package offered ranges from 10 LPA - 12 LPA.
Infrastructure: It provides clean rooms, tasty and hygienic food, full of butter and ghee and paneer are available. They do not change the menu for months. Rooms are ventilated, and fast Wi-Fi is enabled 24X7. Washing machines are available free of cost. All M.Sc students get a hostel. Hostel and mess are expensive. Almost Rs 35,000 per semester is the fee structure. The initial refundable charges are Rs 15,000, and Rs 8,000 extra for one-time admission to the hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are not good in this college. Their focus is on exams rather than education. Exams are moderate. Scoring more than 8 CGPA is easy. But the semester is for only 3-3.5 months, and students have to study 4-5 courses. Laboratories and projects make everything very difficult.
Other: There is good research going on in the physics department.
