IMU Mumbai accepts Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test (IMU CET) scores for admission to BTech in Marine Engineering. IMUCET Round 2 cutoff is out and as per the data, the closing rank for BTech in Marine Engineering was 898 for the students belonging to the General AI category. The Round 1 cutoff for the same course was 475. So, considering both the rounds, stundent with a rannk of 3000 will not be eliginle to get admission at IMU Mumbai for BTech in Marine Engineering. 

According to available data, Indian Maritime University, Chennai-Mumbai Campus (MERI) has a placement rate of more than 80%. MOL, Fleet Management, and DAMCO are among the companies that participate, with an average operational level officer salary of approximately INR 225,000 per month. The eligibility criteria for B.Tech (Marine Engineering) at Indian Maritime University, Chennai-Mumbai Campus MERI are as follows:

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) as compulsory subjects with a minimum of 60% marks in PCM and a minimum of 50% marks in English in 10th/12th examination
• Alternatively, candidates with a B.Sc. degree in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, or Electronics with Physics as an individual subject in one of the years, with an average of not less than 55% of the marks in the final year, or a B.E./B.Tech degree from IIT or from a college recognised by AICTE with an average of not less than 50% of the marks in the final year are also eligible to apply
• There is also a lateral entry scheme into the 2nd and 3rd year of B.Tech (Naval Architecture & Ocean Engineering) for Diploma holders in Mechanical/Marine Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks overall
• Candidates who qualify for the course will have to submit a Physical Fitness Certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner at the time of certificate verification
