IUST infrastructure is really good, located at a very good place, placements not so good.

Placements: Around 60 students were placed in my course. Around 31,000 Nestlé, Coca-Cola, ITC, 2-3% in Nestlé, Coca-Cola, Food Director. A lot of students couldn't make it to top companies because of the non-availability of seats. Only a few students were able to make it to top companies.

IUST and the academic life.

Placements: Placements in the university are very good. Students who have a CGPA above 7 get placed easily. The highest on-campus placement was 5 lpa given by the company Bharat Petroleum. Another off-campus placement was for a computer sciences student, which was 24 LPA.

Review for the Islamic University of Science and Technology.

Placements: The placements occur at this university regularly. International companies regularly come here to offer jobs to students with a 24 Lac per year package and more. Students are very happy with those companies. Recently, they selected many students from our batch and hired them at a very good price.

It is the best university in terms of education but lacks in providing placement opportunities.

Placements: Our batch of B.Tech electrical engineering was the first batch in the university. Though the course was new, the university managed to provide us better education, and almost all the equipment was available for experimental purposes. We were sent to NIT Srinagar for those particals, which were not available in our institution. As far as the placements are concerned, it was almost 0%, that is why I rate it a single star.

The college management is not supportive.

Placements: There is a placement cell in our university. It constantly makes an effort to ensure that every student in our university participates in placement interviews. We get e-mails from the placement cell about internships and jobs. I don't know the actual percentage of students who got placed.

It is one of the best universities. The infrastructure is great, and the faculty are good.

Placements: Our batch is yet to attend the placement drives. Our seniors didn't get many placement offers. The university doesn't invite companies to the campus. Once, there were certain reputed companies like IBM, Capgemini and HCL which recruited students from our college. Due to prevailing situations in the region, the chances of getting placed have decreased with time.

I suggest the students join this college as it is a good one.

Placements: Diploma holders join the college in the second year of a batch. SC and ST students are taken special care as they deserve some additional points. Merit depends on the marks obtained in the entrance exam.

The University is Mediocre at this point of time but the future looks bright.

Placements: The placement drive was held in the University when I was in my last semester and it was fortunate for me that I was among the 20 selected candidates but due to some unforseen circumstances we could't join on date and university was aware why could't they. But after that University took no responsibility to hold on the job by being in touch with them. This was a bad impact.

The college has good infrastructure and loving and experienced teachers.

Placements: In Islamic University, there are no placements, but sometimes the university conducts placement function. Last year, one placement function was held on the campus. The placements are the problem in this university, but with the coming years, there will be more placement drives. The university is still growing in some aspects.

Dissatisfied because of placement, good faculty, really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Placements are not high, but you get a good basic settlement like a junior assistant or being a professor on the campus. About 30% of my seniors were placed. The highest salary offered was Rs. 25,000 per month and the lowest salary offered was Rs. 13,000 per month. The roles offered were a junior engineer, professor etc. Almost 90% of the students get the internship from the college.

A little bit satisfied as university is doing great efforts to develop it a center of learning.

Placements: Honestly speaking I had not heard any placements in my branch from the university. The students are on own, they struggle themselves to find a good job. I haven't seen any companies especially in my branch CIVIL but sometimes there are job placements for other branches. Although the university is doing some extra work to excel the job placements. The university is giving its students internship opportunity at national level. I don't know what is the total amount of stipend during internship. The...

The campus has good infrastructure and well-maintained lab facility. The library is fair enough to meet the demand of the students with the facility of browsing center and access to many journals. Wi-Fi with 4G speed is present throughout the campus. There is transport and hostel facility for all the students, whosoever applies for it. The faculty is cooperative and well qualified. The placement for civil as such is not present but the scope in state is good enough. However the placement is bein...

Really good university which helps students to compete with others

Placements: Campus placements are not good yet because this university was established in 2007 but other facilities are good. Students often crack gate examinations. Practical skills are taught . Not top recruiting but companies often visit and hire students. 100 percent students get internship offers

Overall, this is a good college though.

Placements: The placement rate for this college is around 50%. The highest package per annum is around Rs 4 to 5 Lacs and the average package is between Rs 1 and a half Lacs per annum. The top recruiting companies are R &B of Jammu and Kashmir and some private companies. Most students have to find jobs on their own.

It is an emerging alma matter.

Placements: I do not know much about placements because I mainly focus on my studies than a job. In Kashmir, the private construction sector is very low, so students can only opt for government jobs like JE, AE, etc. Many of my seniors have cracked these exams and are working as JEs. We do have a placement cell, which is working great to provide students with exposure to the outside market.

The university is in the process of becoming a deemed institution of the state.

Placements: There was not much exposure to on-campus placements. A few events are held. There is a lack of general student interactive sessions, and mostly, people do not participate. Udaan is something I can recall that visited the university.

Review of IUST - Islamic University of Science and Technology.

Placements: There are no placements through our university. Some of our seniors are working in multinational companies like Nestle, etc. Nowadays our college is doing a lot of work in order to make students know about industries and also organises workshops in order to aware students about the scope of food technology.

One wrong thing with the university is that there is no placement otherwise it is good to do B.Tech.

Placements: There was no placement for our senior batch and no placement for us. So far no company visited our University I do not know why. Almost in our batch, all were offered to have an internship in the same University. No stipend offered. I myself did my internship at my university.

I am satisfied because of my friends.

Placements: In this college, some students were preparing for the GATE. Some of the students were placed as assistant professors for the same university and in the same faculty members. But some students were placed somewhere in good companies.
