Our college is good in everything but lacks placements.

Placements: One thing that IUST lacks is placements. Every college in Jammu and Kashmir lacks placements. Our college does not guarantee placements. However, when there are placement opportunities, which are not available very often, students get placed in companies like Bajaj, BSNL, Jio, MI.Com, etc.

I am totally satisfied with our college.

Placements: There is almost a 1% chance of getting placements in our college. In the case of placements, this college lacks behind much. No companies visited here. Companies give first preference to NITs and IITs. In PSUs, there is no chance of getting a job until the qualification of the GATE exam.

Overall, I am satisfied with everything in our college.

Placements: Companies like Byju's, etc., visited our college for our placements, and many students got internships and worked for the companies sincerely. I am satisfied with our college placements. If you have good knowledge and good points in your academics, then you will surely get placed if companies visit here.

Absolutely satisfied because of faculty, good Placements and good infrastructure.

Placements: A lot of construction companies usually come at the doors of this university as the students that study here have already cleared JEE Mains to get admission into this university. So there are quite high chances that you may get placed at the university.

Absolutely satisfied with the university.

Placements: It is a very good university, and a lot of placements happen here. Although the branch I am in is having the least placements in our country, but our university is trying their best for the placement of its students. Recently, 80% of students got placed through our campus.

It has good infrastructure and placements.

Placements: The placements provided by the college were excellent. In our batch, there were 50 students, out of them, 45 got placements. Many companies visit the institution and select some students to train them. Also, they take us on tour in every semester. The companies provide 15,000 to 40,000 salary.

IUST - Worth studying here

Placements: The placement drive is really good for candidates and it helps a lot to get jobs easily through. Previous batches got placed successfully and then we got more opportunities for jobs. The college coordinates with multiples MNCs and then they arrange placement drive for students before they complete their final year. Placement drives were delayed this year but still, we acknowledge efforts of our college to arrange drives to help students get placed in companies. ...

Absolutely satisfied with my university.

Placements: Various IT companies come to visit our university regularly every year and a large number of students are placed. The exact percentage of placed students is not available with me. The average package offered to each student is normally 20-25K per month.

Absolutely satisfied because of the faculty members and timely conduction of the exams.

Placements: As far as I know, the private firms visit the University every year for placements especially in CSE and ECE and in other departments like MBA, organisations also visit and select students. Almost 40% of students are placed in each department and the average salary at the beginning is around rupees 25000-30000.

Fully satisfied with the university.

Placements: When I was in my first year, Capgemini visited our university and placed approximately 50 percent of the students, who were my seniors at that time. The minimum salary offered was 2.5 lacs per year approximately, and the maximum salary offered was 6 lacs per year approximately, but after that, Capgemini stopped to visit our university. Then due to political situation and strikes in Kashmir, no more companies visited our college, so I was not placed in any company.
