Value for money, cheap, and guaranteed placement.

Placements: Sapient Consulting Ltd., Samsung, Adobe, Snapdeal, TCS, HCL, NBC, NewGen, etc. are some of the companies that came for placements during 2015 and about 80% students got placed easily. Following that year, companies like Amazon, Flipkart, Paytm and PayPal also visited the campus.

Not good for MBA because of less placements

Placements: About placement, there is less scope for MBA students. But they are working on it and maybe they will find a good solution for that. But till now, there is less scope for MBA students. However, YMCA is a reputed university so firms want to connect with it.

YMCA is a good college. Go for it.

Placements: Placements of YMCA are very good. Many companies like HCL, Wipro, Samsung and Adobe visited for placements. Placements for CSE are the highest and if your pointer is above 8, you will get the placement for sure. Just improve your communication skills to sit in the interview and you are all set for placements.

The college is good for studying but as per enjoying, it is not good.

Placements: The placements were not good. Only 50 percent students were selected. The average salary was about 2.4 lakhs. The highest was around 3.5 lpa. The kind of companies that came was mostly the BPO type. The internship rate was not good.

Good college. Go for it if you are willing to work hard.

Placements: Placement of YMCA is good compared to most of the colleges in NCR. Many reputable companies like Wipro, TCS, Samsung and HCL visit here for placements. Many companies focus on IT and CSE students, so if you want to do CSE or IT, this is the right college for you. The highest salary offered to the previous batch was 8 lacs. Most of the students are placed in TCS. Placements offered in the company totally depend on your skill. For example, if you like programming, there is a good chance you will g...

If you want to be an event organizer, a photographer, a singer or a dancer, this is a place to be.

Placements: Placements are not as per expectations from this college. The highest package offered to my batch was 1.14 lakhs per annum, and indeed it was the only package offered, as only one company visited the campus for placement. Only 4 people were selected from a batch of 120, hence the placement percentage is 3%. Those four brilliant folks have to work in a foundry, which has an adverse environment. No internships were offered to mechanical batch, hence no chance stands for a stipend. There were no pl...

Poor placements. Good infrastructure.

Placements: It was really a poor experience for our batch that we had to face a lot of problems regarding our job as there was no support from the college management. Students got jobs on their own, either it was through the pool campus or through some consultancies.

Not a very good college to join.

Placements: Very poor. No placement at all. No opportunities also from the college's side. It would be great if you are not looking for placements from the college and can handle it on your own from off-campus placements. Especially the mechanical engineering placements are the worst. It is difficult to find from off-campus as well.

Low fees. Low facilities. Take admission for degree not for education.

Placements: Only brilliant students get the placement. There are no placements for average or above average students. Initially, they told us that everyone gets placements here but after admission, we came to know that very few or a negligible number of students gets placements. Fewer companies came to campus for placements but they offer a very low salary.

Placements: 1. Placement cell had put in more efforts by organizing PDP (Personal Development Classes) at my time as compared to my senior batch. 2. Approx 40-45 percent students were placed from CSE branch, 2016 batch. 3. The highest salary is 4.75 lakhs CTC and the lowest salary offered is 1.8 lakhs CTC. 4. Nice kind of insfrastructure, but very poor in placements.

Placements: 1. Sorry to say, but they do not invite core companies to their campus. 2. Only sales, marketing and BPO placements occur. 3. No bonding with the industry, especially for the mechanical branch. 4. For the CSE branch, 2 companies were recruited. Although the college staff is good but in the case of placements, I give 0 out of 10.

Name of the college is big, but as per facilities wise, it's not sufficient.

Placements: The college tries to give an offer to each student, but few students, say 10-15, out of 60 remain unemployed. The main reason is that they have remaining subjects of 1st or 2nd semester. I think the placement rate is good because a company will not hire you if you haven't cleared your academics, as they can not afford losses. Everyone always wants to be profitable for themselves. So, I would rate 4.5 stars out of 5. From a computer science and information technology, we got the highest package o...

Placements: If you want to ask about the placements, it's not very good. Although, companies do visit the campus and some the students got placements at good packages but rest is not as per the expectation. If you are pursuing your BTech from Mechanical there are a lot of possibilities that you can get placed on the local mechanical companies that work for reputed companies like Maruti, Honda, JCB etc. But if you are from IT or Electronics, the chances are very limited. ...

A newly built college in semi-rural area with inadequate and less experienced faculty.

Placements: Not really good in terms of placement. However, a few students got placed in HCL through off-campus placement which eventually turned out to be a placement in the BPO cell of HCL. I remember once when we were in the final year, few army officers visited the college and our interviews were conducted. Next day a list of 12 students(including me) was pasted on the notice board that these students are selected in the interview and they have to directly report for the SSB. But no one was called for S...

Aravali - Begin your career here. Choose wisely.

Placements: The placements for my batch is almost negligible. There are a few companies which visited our institute and provided jobs to those who scored 70% in their academic exams. About 30% of students were placed in technical companies and the rest were offered BPO jobs, which were not of their own profile. The salary offered was from 20k to 22k per month (considered to be good for fresher). The companies which visited are Velocity Transmission, Parley G, and some BPOs. Everyone in the management team, whether it be the library, classroom or any lab, they were very strict and treated us like 5-grade kid initially for first 2 years. Things improved later on.
