About Jamia Hamdard GNM Nursing 2021

Jamia Hamdard’s School of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences (Rufaida College of Nursing) is the institute of the department which offers various courses at diploma, graduation, and post-graduation level in the field of Nursing. Jamia Hamdard DGNM Nursing 2021 Eligibility

The Jamia Hamdard School of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences (Rufaida College of Nursing) offers various programmes at the undergraduate level, postgraduate and PhD level in Nursing and Allied Health Sciences (Rufaida College of Nursing). The eligibility criteria for all the programmes are different. The eligibility criteria for DGNM nursing is mentioned below:

  • The candidate should be 17 years of age as on or before 31 December 2020, according to the Indian Nursing Counselling (INC). The upper age limit is 35 years.
  • The candidate should have cleared class 12 exams by securing at least 50 percent marks in aggregate having Science/Arts/Commerce stream subjects from a recognized Board under ASSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or any other Board recognized by Jamia Hamdard and as equivalent.
  • Candidate must have passed in any four subjects including English (3 subjects + English) from the list given below:

    • Chemistry
    • Biology
    • Mathematics
    • Commerce
    • Accountancy
    • Economics
    • Business Studies
    • Computer Science/ Informatics Practice/ Word processing/ Multimedia
    • Geography
    • History
    • Civics

  • The candidate should have passed in all the subjects of 10+2 (five subjects as per the CBSE policy)
  • English shall be excluded for calculating the aggregate percentage
  • The candidate should possess skills to communicate well in English
  • The candidate should be medically fit

The Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (DGNM) programme is a three-year porgramme and Jamia Hamdard offers 70 seats in total for this programme.

Jamia Hamdard GNM Nursing 2021 Application Forms

Jamia Hamdard pharmacy registrations and applications are expected to start somewhere in the month of April 2021 (tentatively). Candidates have to register themselves first by creating their ID on the official website of the Jamia Hamdard by providing details such as Name, Email (for future communications), Mobile number (to verify the user by sending OTP) and a Password created according to the website requirements. Candidates have to mention their state and city of residence. The applicants have to type the captcha provided before clicking the ‘registered’ button. After the candidate gets registered, he/she will receive a confirmation mail on his/her registered e-mail ID and an SMS on the registered mobile number. Along with the confirmation mail and SMS the candidates will receive a link which will be redirected to the webpage, allowing them to activate the application process. The candidates will be admitted to DGNM course in Jamia Hamdard on the basis of merit in first five subjects of the qualifying exam.

Steps to follow While Filling the Jamia Hamdard Application Form

  • Choose the desired program, candidates will be able to see a list of available courses by which the candidates can apply for Jamia Hamdard. Candidate have to select the course type from the list.
  • Candidates have to choose from the options if they are applying as an Indian national or as a Foreign/NRI/Sponsored candidate.
  • Candidates have to select their centre preference after choosing the course type. Candidates will be able to select a maximum of eight preferences. Selection of at least one preference is mandatory to proceed further.
  • Post the selection of preferences, candidates can fill the application form for the course they had selected. Candidates have to fill in the mandatory information and details in each section. Field marked with * are mandatory to fill.

Application Fee Payment

The candidates must submit a Jamia Hamdard application fee to complete the process following completion of the application form filling process. As an application fee for all programmes and categories, Jamia Hamdard had fixed the Rs 1500 amount. By using the net banking/credit/debit card facility, candidates can pay the application fee. For future references, the candidates should keep a printout of the application form. The application shall not be deemed incomplete by Jamia Hamdard until a candidate submits the application fee. It is not guaranteed that the candidate will be eligible to appear only after filling in the application form. In addition, if the candidate fails to pay the application fee, no admission card will be issued.

Jamia Hamdard GNM Nursing Admit Card

In and around the last week, May 2021, Jamia Hamdard releases the admit card (tentatively). To download admit cards, applicants must check the Website over and over again. Jamia Hamdard also sends all candidates the admission card by mail. If the admission card is not supplied via postal candidates, it is possible to download the card via the website. Applicants need to log in via their mail ID and password created during registrations to their university accounts. The admission cards are obligatory and, if a candidate does not present the admission card on examination day, he/she cannot appear.

In the second week of June 2021, Jamia Hamdard University will release the result of the General Nursing and Midwifery Diploma (DGNM) (tentatively). By logging into their respective accounts on Jamia Hamdard's official website, candidates can check their results and merit list. Candidates must click the results tab in the report section and then select their course, undergraduate level or diploma, and then the general nursing and midwifery diploma. programme (DGNM). The outcome will be based on the merit list. Candidates are advised to continue checking the website and SMS e-mails, as Jamia Hamdard publishes multiple lists of selected candidates.
