Jamia Hamdard 2020 exam will be conducted by the Jamia Hamdard, a Deemed to be University in New Delhi. Jamia Hamdard is accredited in ‘A’ Grade by NAAC, declared to be designated as Institute of Eminence (IoE) by MHRD (Ministry of Human Resource Development), GOI (Government of India).

What is Jamia Hamdard 2020 Pharmacy Exam?

Jamia Hamdard’s School of Pharmaceutical Education & Research is the centre where various programmes at diploma, graduation and post-graduation level are offered. Jamia Hamdard Pharmacy 2020 exam registration and application is expected to commence in the month of April 2020.

Jamia Hamdard Pharmacy Eligibility

The Jamia Hamdard School of Pharmaceutical Education & Research offers programmes at postgraduate level. The eligibility criteria for the programmes are different and are mentioned below:

Masters in Pharmacy (M. Pharma Regular and SFS) Four Semester Course

  • 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) subjects with at least 50 percent marks in aggregate and the same should be in aggregate in PCB.  
  • Candidate should have qualified GPAT (Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test)
  • Candidate should have a valid GPAT scorecard
  • Should be 17 years of age on or before 31 December of the year of taking admission as per PCI (Pharmacy Council of India) guidelines.
  • Non GPAT (Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test) applicants may be shortlisted on the basis of merit in qualifying examination-cum-interview.

Jamia Hamdard Application Forms

Jamia Hamdard pharmacy registrations and applications are expected to start somewhere in the month of April 2020 (tentatively). Candidates have to register themselves first by creating their ID on the official website of the Jamia Hamdard by providing details such as Name, Email (for future communications), Mobile number (to verify the user by sending OTP) and a Password created according to the website requirements. After the candidate gets registered, he/she will receive a confirmation mail on his/her registered e-mail ID and an SMS on the registered mobile number. Along with the confirmation mail and SMS the candidates will receive a link which will be redirected to the webpage, allowing them to activate the application process.

Steps to Follow While Filling the Jamia Hamdard Application Form

  • Choose the desired program, candidates will be able to see a list of available courses by which the candidates can apply for Jamia Hamdard. Candidate have to select the course type from the list.
  • Candidates have to choose from the options if they are applying as an Indian national or as Foreign/NRI/Sponsored candidate.
  • Candidates have to select their course preference. Candidates will be able to select the maximum of eight preferences. Selection of at least one preference is mandatory to proceed further.
  • Post the selection of preferences, candidates can fill the application form for the course they had selected. Candidates have to fill in the mandatory information and details in each section. Field marked with * are mandatory to fill.

Application Fee Payment

After completing the application form filling process, the candidates have to submit the Jamia Hamdard Application fee to conclude the process completely. Jamia Hamdard had set an amount of Rs 1500 as the application fee for all programmes and for all the categories. Candidates can pay the application fee by using net banking/credit card/debit card facilities. Candidates are advised to keep a print out of the application form with them for future reference. Jamia Hamdard does not guarantee that the candidate is eligible to appear for examination only after filling the application form, the application will be considered incomplete until the candidate submits the application fee. Also, no admit card will be issued, if the candidate fails to pay the application fee.

Jamia Hamdard Pharmacy Admit Card

Jamia Hamdard will release the admit card in and around the last week of May 2020 (tentatively). Candidates have to check the website time and again to download their admit cards. Jamia Hamdard also sends the admit card to all the candidates via post. If in case the admit card is not delivered via post candidates can download the same by visiting the official site. Candidates have to login to their university account by using their mail ID and the password they had created during the registrations. Admit cards are mandatory and in case any candidates fails to produce the admit card at the day of exam, he/she will not be allowed to appear for the exam.

Jamia Hamdard Pharmacy Result

Jamia Hamdard University will declare the result for M. Pharma and in the second week of June 2020 (tentatively). Candidates can check their result by logging in to their respect accounts on the official website of Jamia Hamdard. Candidates have to click on the Results tab in the notification section and then they have to select their course level, postgraduate, and then the programme which is M. Pharma. The result will be based on the basis of the merit list. Candidates are advised to keep checking the website and SMS notifications, e-mails as Jamia Hamdard releases a multiple list of the shortlisted candidates.
