Placements: Placement is not that good for the civil department. Computers department has a better vision of it. In civil, almost 20-24 get placement from the college but finally, all the students are able to get a job off-campus. The average package for civil goes between 3 to 4 lac per annum. The main reason of this bad placement scenario is the placement and training cell. It doesn't have contacts with companies. Doesn't invite them properly. No internship from college side but you can try to get one. Th...
Placements: The placements in our college are near to negligible. The students are worthy enough but the placement cell is really inactive. Usually, only a few students get placed and the average package is around 3 lakhs per annum. Our college needs to improve on it.
Placements: The placements in our college for our course are just okay. Many students don't get placed. Last year, a very few got placed with an average salary of 4 lakh per annum. Companies like Ernst and Young, HCL etc. come for recruitment and selection. Placements can be made better.
Placements: The placements in our course are nearly 50 percent students getting placed. The average annual package of the placement is around 4 lakhs per annum. The placements cell has just been set up and there are hopes that placements will be better for the coming batches.
Placements: The placements records of Jamia Millia Islamia have very decent and good placements. The institute assures to give the 100% placements for the students. They maintain separate corporate cell. Many pieces of training are given to the students such as industrial visits, letter writings, resume writings, personality development workshops are conducted on a daily basis for students. The senior faculty will be giving counselling to the students based on interest and the aptitude for the better career...
Placements: The placements for my senior batch were good. Around 50% of the students are placed. The average salary was approximately 4 Lakhs per annum. The roles offered were related to IT, coding, developer. Companies like Oracle, Jabong, PayPal, HSBC, TCS visited the campus. The lowest stipend was 6k, and the average was 10k.
Placements: Placements are not good. A few companies visit the campus for recruitments and hardly 5 students get campus placements with an average package of 3-4 lakhs. You can bank upon off campus placements if 15-20k per month is satiable for you. And every student is required to do an internship in the 5th semester and the college will not help you in finding internships. So, you have to find it on your own.
Placements: I know a little bit about the placement in the college. But the placement is better than other colleges because it is situated in the capital of our country so there are many companies around Delhi which come for placement. Cities like Gurgaon, Noida, Greater Noida is very close to Delhi, so there are so many opportunities for you. Besides, the placement there are so many good coaching centres in Delhi for higher studies. In Jamia, most of the students go for the higher studies, so the percentag...
Placements: Placements are average. Around 20 to 25% students got placed in the year 2015. Companies like ABB, TCS, Tata Power, L & T etc. visit every year for campus selection. The average package is around 5 to 6 lakhs per annum. However, the collage placements vary from session to session and depend on the market trend.
Placements: There were more than a few companies in which students got placed such as Trident, Siemens, Hero Motocorp, SRF, TCS, Wipro and L&T (where I got placed). This was better than the placements last year, which indicated better confidence in the college by the industry.
Placements: Core electronics companies hardly visit this college. Only a few core companies such as TCIL, Siemens etc pay a visit here. Most of the ECE students get into software jobs. As ECE is the closest branch to CS, the software companies visiting campus look for both the CS and ECE students. They test one's understanding of C, Data Structures, Networking etc. The placement for the CS stream is good. Samsung R&D also visits the college for recruitment, and Tech Mahindra also takes the students for the ...
College is good and Faculty is also experienced. Here focus is more on practical and practical knowledge rather than other things. But still can be improved in the same because market requires more of practical knowledge rather than theoretical knowledge. Placement is good but less as compared to B.Tech, at the same time, still better than IPU. Fee is almost negligible. Campus crowd is good since it is a Government College so do not expect Hi-Fi infrastructure. Although whole University is Wi-Fi...
My college experience here in JMI- Canteen facility is good. The crowd is good and has intellectual in approach. Faculty is also very supportive. Library is full of variety of books; you can get any type of books you want. There are many courses offered in Jamia Millia Islamia. Foreigner crowd is also there. People from different part of the globe study here.
The ROI is the biggest factor, because the package you get after paying just 50000 bucks for an MBA IB degree is quite good. The infrastructure is a big plus too. The Faculties are top notch. The Eca exposure can be better for the students, in terms of fests and inter university competitions. The student exchange program has taken a hit for some reason; it should be back on the itinerary as soon as possible.
Now before mentioning about the course and the facilities that you get once you pursue a course from Jamia Millia Islamia, I would like to mention that it is a central government university and because of that you have its pros and cons. More of pros because pursuing a course from a central government university is itself very prestigious. Now talking about the course. The MBA course was started in the year 2003-04, so the course itself is not that old. It holds its own entrance exam and then ca...
Jamia Millia Islamia is a decent university with a varied range of courses and an extremely beautiful and vast campus. Crowd is not over the top but is okay. The faculty in some of the departments is amazing whereas some department could do with better professors. The facilities provided by the university like the library and the sports complex are world class.
Jamia Milia Islamia is the best college in India for pursuing Masters in Mass Communication. Teaching staff is very motivating, and the campus is fully equipped to ensure a good future for its students. It is a well-known university in India. All departments of this university are very good but the Mass Communication of Jamia Milia Islamia is better, it is the best place for media students to gain knowledge. Mass communication’s all teachers are very well qualified.
A wonderful institution with all facilities, polite behaviour of administration and faculty members. Proud to be a part of such a renowned University. It is the best university for cultural integration & providing equality of opportunities to all irrespective of any type of differences by promoting full inclusion. Diverse Campus with varied courses and educated lot as teaching staff. Mass Communications and Engineering faculty is amongst the best in India.
This is one of the engineering colleges whose name speaks for itself. It has a host of clubs and activities to choose from for all round development, depending on your interests. Robotics, Aero modeling, Quizzing and Debating are just a few of the many activities available. The only thing that I think lacked was the openness due to a minority institute maybe. There seemed to be a cultural shift for many students. Attendance is strict. Teachers are good but not great. There are many places to rel...
